For the next two weeks or so, all our focus on Kristen Stewart will be mostly centered on her highly anticipated next film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1." But we can't help but also be excited about her next big movie, "Snow White and the Huntsman," co-starring "Thor" stud Chris Hemsworth.

Therefore when MTV News caught up with Stewart during "MTV First: Breaking Dawn" on Thursday, we had to ask her for an update and, more specifically, if she has considered the idea of turning that role into another franchise.

"Oh man, to be totally candid and honest with you, when I first signed on to this thing, the idea of doing another franchise was like, 'Wow, [we'll] cross that bridge when it comes.' It was something so far outside my realm of thinking," she revealed. "I was so focused on the first one, and I thought, 'Maybe, maybe,' but I've got stars in my eyes. I'm literally over the moon about what I'm doing right now," she said of her work on "Huntsman." "Yes, I would love to [do more 'Snow White' films]."

Stewart's enthusiasm for that project carried over into her appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," where she treated the host and the audience to a story about an action scene gone awry.

"I [punched Hemsworth in the face]. I did," she said. "It made such a sound, it was in a scene. Girls, if you've ever wondered if it works, it works. It literally spun him right around. I was supposed to miss him by this much. I basically knocked him right out of his close-up. It'll definitely be in the movie."

'Walking Dead' Creator Talks Steamy Sex Scene

'It brings a sense of hope into the show,' Robert Kirkman tells MTV News of the budding romance between Glenn and Maggie.

"The Walking Dead" spent a lot of time dwelling on the dead in last week's "Save the Last One" episode, so it's only fair that the most recent outing — titled "Cherokee Rose" — focused most of its energy on the living. Hot on the heels of Otis' tragic death and Carl's stressful surgery, this week's episode finally turned up the heat and gave us a whole lot of flesh — but not the kind "Walking Dead" heads are typically used to.

We're talking, of course, about the steamy sex scene between go-to odd-jobs man Glenn (Steven Yeun) and newcomer Maggie (Lauren Cohan), daughter of farmer Hershel Greene. After Glenn successfully roped in an incredibly gruesome zombie at the bottom of a well (seriously, did you see that thing? That's Greg Nicotero at his finest!), the former pizza delivery boy clearly demonstrated enough cojones to win Maggie's heart — or at least her body. But following the spontaneous sexual encounter, Maggie called it quits, leaving Glenn more than a little bit confused about what just happened.

Glenn might be down at the moment, but he's definitely not out. In a recent interview, "Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman assured MTV News that the romance between Maggie and Glenn will be mostly faithful to their fan-favorite relationship as seen in the comics.

"I can't go into too many details as far as the Glenn-Maggie relationship goes, I wouldn't want to reveal too much, but I can say it's kept largely intact from what happens in the comic book series," Kirkman said. "Seeing Lauren Cohan and Steven Yeun on set together is just absolutely amazing for me. It's like, 'Oh, there's Glenn and Maggie!'

"Watching them kiss is no fun, that's just weird," he quipped. "But they do a good job at it. They seem to enjoy kissing each other. I think Steven might enjoy it more than Lauren, but that's just my take on the situation."

On a serious note, Kirkman applauded the Glenn-Maggie romance for shining a spotlight on the brighter side of the "Walking Dead" universe — a side that's very rarely seen.

"It brings a sense of hope into the show, that these two people can find each other and find love," Kirkman said. "It's fun to have a bit of romance in there and think that, despite everything that's going on in this world, two people can find some form of happiness.

"Until a zombie attacks," he quickly warned, "and zombies do attack from time to time."

A few weeks back, MTV News caught up with Taylor Momsen from the Pretty Reckless about life on the road with Evanescence. This week, we grabbed some time with Evanescence's other opening act, Rival Sons.

The four-man "dirty rock" band invited us into the tour's empty equipment truck only moments before they took the stage at New York City's Terminal 5 concert space.

Having formed three years ago in Southern California, lead singer Jay Buchanan said, "We had a common likeness of a good type of rock and roll that we wanted to play."

More specifically, guitarist Scott Holiday explained, "We describe it as rock that hasn't forgotten the roll. It's real dirty. It's real raw."

Their blues-rock look and sound, which you can observe for yourself with their catchy single and cool video for "Pressure and Time" off their latest album of the same name, caught the attention of Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee, who handpicked the band as an opener for their latest tour.

"Rival Sons: Actually, we picked because we really like their music," Amy Lee recently told MTV News. "[It's] sort of in that Zeppelin, trippy, awesome rock. They're really good!"

Having been on tour for the past month, Rival Sons have had plenty of interaction with the popular headliners.

"It's an honor to look over side-stage and see Amy is dancing," drummer Mike Miley gushed. "It's like, 'Holy cow!' "

Though their blues sound differs significantly from Evanescence's more heavy-metal rock, all members of Rival Sons agree that their set is being very well-received.

"Is it strange to see a dirty rock and roll band opening for Evanescence?" Holiday asked rhetorically. "We probably think it is, but the band watches us every night. They're a bunch of great people, and the fans have been great to us the whole time."

Buchanan added, "You come in with the advantage of being totally underestimated. You're guilty until proven innocent."
