SAN FRANCISCO — Britney Spears turned the heat all the way up on Sunday morning (March 27), when she hit the stage at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco for a concert set to air on "Good Morning America." Her set list was similar to the one she followed just days earlier at a Las Vegas performance at the Palms Casino.

Fans will get to see her show when it airs Tuesday on "GMA" — the same day her Femme Fatale album drops — but the ones who were lucky enough to catch her on Sunday couldn't stop gushing about how "amazing" Brit was.

"So I totally loved how her bustier was lit up," Corina Andrati excitedly told MTV News moments after Spears wrapped her three-song set. "I'm so blessed to be here, and it's all about San Francisco."

Sarah added that Spears was as good as she was when her debut album dropped more than a decade ago. "It was amazing," she gushed. "It was so hot! We live here in the city, and she was sexier than ever and I'd go lesbian for her. She really blew it up."

"It was amazing," José added. "My favorite song was 'Till the World Ends' and I love the album and she's rocking it."

Randi Florence will now always remember her first-ever concert-going experience as a Britney Spears show. "We loved the show," Florence said. "It was my very first concert. I loved Britney. She's so amazing."

Sasha Yung shared her biggest highlight from the show. "I liked the last song, ['Till The World Ends']," she told us. "I liked the wind blowing through her hair and I loved her scandalous outfit."

Thomas loved that he's one of the first to experience hearing a new Femme Fatale track live. "I have to say the premiere of 'Big Fat Bass' [was great]," he said. "It was an amazing song and I loved the way she has it choreographed. It was stunning for me. I flew all the way from Alaska to go to this show, so I was inspired. It was awesome."

"It was freakin' sick, honestly," Monica said. "She's hot and everyone who hates on her: whatevs! She's hella hot!"

Bottom line for Alicia is that Britney proved once again that she's a true performer. "Great costumes! She looks better than ever," she said. "She can put on a show. When you go to a Britney show, you know you're going to get your money's worth, and today was no different."

What does it take to run a social-networking site that five-hundred millions users rely on and obsess over? Who are the people working to keep your Facebook page not only up and running but constantly innovating and transforming?

MTV's "Diary of Facebook" — premiering March 30 at 11 p.m. ET/PT — goes deep inside the social network's hyperkinetic Palo Alto headquarters to tell the story of what really goes on; you think you know, but you have no idea.

The 30-minutes special features company founder Mark Zuckerberg giving insight into the company's culture and evolution, as well as day-in-the-life journeys with a technical engineer named Pedram and a consumer-marketing employee named Erin, as they work to pioneer new applications and bring together users whose lives have been changed through the site.

For the first time ever, we get an inside look at Facebook's famous "hack-a-thon," a 24-hour, no-code-barred event in which employees are directed to ditch their normal duties and instead break ground on those pet tech projects they've always wanted to create but have never found the time to pursue. Not only does Pedram innovate, he does so under-pressure, and overnight.

And then there's Erin, a driving force behind Stories.Facebook.com's effort to highlight users' life-changing, social-networking stories, from one woman's quest to locate long-lost family members to an A.L.S.-stricken man who finds in Facebook a way to engage with the world around him despite the limitations of his disease.

In the end, viewers will walk away with an intimate look at the personalities and day-to-day dealings of one of the world's most talked-about companies and social platforms. It's all happening on March 30, when "Diary of Facebook" debuts on MTV.

Tune in to "Diary of Facebook," airing on Wednesday, March 30, at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

'Sucker Punch' DVD Will Include R-Rated Footage, Zack Snyder Says

Zack Snyder also describes the difficulty of editing for a PG-13 rating.

In case you haven't already seen, heard or read enough about Zack Snyder's action-adventure-fantasy "Sucker Punch," MTV News has you covered. In addition to our catch-all guide to the film and secrets revealed, today we bring you more from Snyder regarding the highly technical aspects of the shoot, as well as what fans can expect on the DVD and Blu-ray.

"The train sequences were the hardest technically to shoot only because it's a sequence that's broken up into maybe 120 shots that look like one shot," Snyder revealed. "So you just kind of have to know where the camera's going and where it came from, and put these little camera moves in, and all these shifts that have to happen," he said.

Snyder went on to say that he and his filmmaking team had the same sort of problems with the Samurai fight sequence, but they approached them differently.

"It was a little easier to do, but the thing that challenged us there was, of course, the scale was crazy," he said. "Ryan, who's one of my stuntmen, he would stand on a big piece of scaffolding and he would fight Emily [Browning] with this long stick," he explained. "Because she had to have an eye line to him up there. So he had this kind of flexible stick that he would try to hit her with."

Will we see any of that behind-the-scenes footage on the DVD?

"Yeah, sure," he said. "I think there is coverage of that."

Regarding what else will appear on the home-video-viewing versions of the film, Snyder teased that there will be a lot of action.

"There is about 18 minutes in the Blu-ray that is mostly action, because the MPAA was not ... [there was] a little too much action," he said, adding that taking the film from an R-rating to PG-13 was also a challenge.

"I would say that the very things that they [the MPAA] didn't like were the very things that you needed to see in order for you to understand the content of the scene," he said. "To know how to feel about it, because otherwise you're sort of left in this weird middle ground," he said. "So it's difficult. It's tricky."

SAN FRANCISCO — The city of San Francisco loves Britney Spears and that love was apparent at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, where the pop star performed some of her brand-new Femme Fatale club bangers on Sunday afternoon (March 27).

The excited roomful of fans were among the lucky group tapped to watch her tape a "Good Morning America" performance, which will air on Tuesday, the same day her album drops.

Check out hot photos of Britney's "GMA" performance.

Before Spears even hit the stage, five fabulous drag queens warmed up the crowd and declared their adoration for the femme fatale herself. Their sassy back-and-forth was followed by Cheer SF, a cheerleading act. After the room was sufficiently warmed up, "GMA" hosts Sam Champion and Robin Roberts came onstage to introduce Spears.

From a set that mirrored the one used in her Las Vegas show two nights ago, Spears kicked off with her lead single, "Hold It Against Me." She dazzled the crowd with an engaging performance, dancing around in a stunning silver bodysuit. After the song, she smiled, telling the crowd "It's beautiful" being in San Francisco to perform for them.

After a change of clothes into a body-hugging, black bodysuit, Spears got sexy for the will.i.am collabo "Big Fat Bass." As she shimmied to the thumping track, fans cheered along.

Spears even gave a shout-out to the local gay youths who were in attendance from the Larkin Street homeless shelter and the LYRIC center for LGBT youth. "They're in the front row; thanks for coming," she said.

Between songs, Roberts and Champion taped intros and the former teased a top-secret announcement Britney is set to make on Tuesday when the show airs.

Spears then performed one more track, her second single, "Till the World Ends," to cap off the performance. After her last song, an excited-looking Britney gazed at her fans and told them she was looking forward to releasing her new album: "I love music. It's my world, it's my everything."

Before she left the stage, Brit was presented with a certificate from the city, and she thanked them exuberantly for the super reception.

Clark Kent, meet your Lois Lane.

After weeks of guessing who would play the Man of Steel's leading lady in the upcoming "Superman" reboot, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, along with director Zack Snyder announced on Sunday (March 27) that Academy Award-nominated actress Amy Adams will take on the iconic role.

Snyder, whose latest endeavor, "Sucker Punch," opened in second place at the box office this weekend, said in a statement, "Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about. So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful."

Adams, 36, whose versatile résumé includes "Enchanted," "Talladega Nights," "Doubt" and, most recently, "The Fighter," which earned her an Oscar nod, will star opposite the new Superman, Henry Cavill, who is nine years her junior.

But age clearly didn't factor into Snyder's decision, as he told the Los Angeles Times, "There was a big, giant search for Lois. For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it."

Snyder, who reached out to Adams regarding the "Superman" news via phone while in Paris on Sunday, went on to explain why the Lois Lane role will be "a linchpin" for his vision for the tentatively titled "Man of Steel."

"It goes back to what I've said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What's important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today's audience so that we understand the decisions he makes," he said, "That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance]."

Adams and Cavill will be joined by Diane Lane and Kevin Costner, who will play Clark Kent's adoptive parents.

Perez Hilton Reveals Birthday Wishes For Lady Gaga, Anti-Bullying

LOS ANGELES — Perez Hilton had two wishes for his birthday this year.

The 33-year-old blogger, who celebrated in grand Hollywood fashion on Saturday night at a Sunset Boulevard studio in Los Angeles, says that if he has his way, two things will come to pass: Lady Gaga's Born This Way will be a super hot-selling album and teen bullying will cease.

"My birthday wish for this year is for Lady Gaga's new album, Born This Way, to sell over 1.2 million copies the first week," he said, pausing to give off a mock-sinister laugh. "That would beat Taylor Swift's 1.1-something!"

That was actually the only kind-of-mean thing the notorious blogger said at his Blue Ball Birthday Bash on Saturday. And it could be the last. Perez said he has cleaned up his act, largely due to the teen bullying that's been well-documented over the past year.

"When there was that rash of gay teenagers committing suicide last year, and the bullying that is still going on, I was so moved. So moved that I changed how I operate on my website. When it came time to do my birthday, the idea came to me to raise money for charity and, of course, I wanted it to be a LBGT organization. And of course it was important for to work with one for young people," he told MTV News.

So what does that kind of change mean? For starters, it means Perez may not have to duck celebrities anymore. He's been trying to stick to the facts, he said, and do less of the ad-libs like drawing on their paparazzi photographs. He also opened up about how he apologized to Jennifer Aniston for how he treated her over the years on his blog.

"The great thing about being the new and more positive Perez is that I, hopefully, will be having less awkward, uncomfortable, negative confrontations with people," he said. "But hey, I'm a big boy. I've done things in the past I'm not that proud of."

MIAMI — We all know Joel Zimmerman, a.k.a. deadmau5, knows how to put on a hell of a show, like when he graced the stage at that little event known as the MTV Video Music Awards. His live production is both exciting and intricate, including a massive new LED lighting setup, token mau5 head, and that awe-inspiring cube. And it was no different when MTV News hit up the Ultra Music Festival on Saturday.

Deadmau5's amazing stage setup is part of why he stands apart from other acts — that as well as his excellent production value and impeccable transitions during live performances. We hit up day two of the Ultra fest to see what new tricks deadmau5 would have in store.

This year, tens of thousands of mau5-heads were treated to a very minimal, progressive-house opener. The mood shifted once the hypnotic Sofi dazzled the stage alongside rocker/boyfriend Tommy Lee, who was drumming to the smash "Sofi Needs a Ladder"; the song was followed by his dubstep-infused thumper "One Trick Pony."

The performance shifted in tone and energy throughout the set, hitting classic mau5 bombs like his Rob Swire vocal edit of his breakthough hit "Ghosts N Stuff." The large set, combined with stunning visuals and the energy from the 50,000 or so fans in attendance, was only heightened by the Downtown Miami backdrop. Deadmau5's Ultra Music Festival 2011 was a night for him to shine and, no doubt, one for the ages.

Be sure to stick with MTV News for more on Ultra Music Festival and the rest of the action during Miami Music Week!
