A really big rap tour is exactly what the game needs right now. A rep for Soulja Boy Tell'em told MTV News that the rapper will be joining Lil Wayne on tour this summer, along with Young Jeezy and Wayne's fast-rising protégé Drake. Sources in Wayne's camp told MTV News they are confident that a tour with at least some of the four players will happen.

In May, Drake told MuchMusic about a similar tour that, at the time, was supposed to include Jay-Z.

"God willing, if everything goes according to plan and everybody's schedule is in place, then I will be on tour with some amazing people," Drake said. "One of them being Jay-Z, one of them being Lil Wayne, one of them being Young Jeezy and one of them being me."

Jay has lined up a tour this summer, with Ciara opening up some dates, that kicks off in Las Vegas on July 3.

Thursday night from the Los Angeles Lakers game, Soulja Boy Tell'em announced the tour on Twitter.

"TSA (Twitter Service Announcement) — I'm going on Tour with Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy & Drake this summer! Get ya tickets ASAP!!!!" he Tweeted.

Dates for the tour are still being locked down.

Drake has been working on Rihanna's next album as well as his proper debut album. Soulja Boy has been in the lab recording, as has Young Jeezy. Wayne told us on Sunday that his long-awaited Rebirth album is done. It's now scheduled for an August 18 release, although a new single has not been announced.

"I wanted to grow, and show my growth as well," Wayne said after the MTV Movie Awards. "It's a difference from when you go in a room and come out and you're better and everyone says, 'How did you do that?' So with this album, I wanted everyone to see my growing pains."

Wayne recently wrapped up his I Am Music Tour with T-Pain, Gym Class Heroes, Gorilla Zoe, Keyshia Cole and others.

Blink-182 Will Tour And Record 'As Long As It's Fun'

'There's no end game and no plan at all,' Mark Hoppus says.

Reality is a harsh thing. Once the initial bouts of joy that accompanied the Blink-182 reunion had subsided, doubt began to creep in, and many fans were left to wonder: Does this thing have any legs? Would this be just a one-and-done situation? Would Blink sell out arenas, make a perfunctory record, then disappear quietly into the night once again? Would they really toy with our hearts?

Well, blissed-out Blink fanatics can rest easy. Because it sounds like Mark, Tom and Travis are in this for the long haul.

In an interview with their hometown San Diego Union-Tribune, the guys said that they're planning to tour and record for as long as they're having fun. Which, given the amount of scatological jokes they've been rediscovering lately, could mean forever.

"I hate when bands get back together and do one tour, and it feels like they're going to make a bunch of money, and then they go away for a while and then come back again," Mark Hoppus told the paper. "We did this [reunion] to continue being creative and having fun. I see us continuing to tour and put out albums as long as it's fun. There's no end game and no plan at all. We enjoy playing music together, that's all."

Tom DeLonge echoed the sentiment, joking that they had "no end game, no plan and no practice. ... We're just going to see where that takes us." He added that Blink haven't had all that much time to sit around and hash out their past feelings and future endeavors, not with a relatively humongous arena tour looming on the horizon.

"It's definitely [interesting] how rapidly things can change from day to day," DeLonge said. "I have a lot of anxiety right now about the tour and how big it is."

And while it might sound like there's plenty of anxiety, there's also plenty of fun involved, which suggests that the Blink-182 reunion really could go on and on.

"Oh, it's so fun," drummer Travis Barker said. "This is a breath of fresh air."

This Sunday, if you miss Jadakiss at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert at New Jersey's Giants Stadium, it's on you. After years of getting an opening slot, Jadakiss says he's going on much later in the show.

"They ain't gonna make me go on before the people get there this year," Jada recently told us. "That's in the negotiations. 'Don't even call me if y'all ain't trying to let me go on at a reasonable slot, man.' "

Jadakiss revealed the obvious: that he's going to bring out a few cameo appearances.

"I always try to give one or two surprises," he said. "I know they wanna see me. I just dropped a new [album, The Last Kiss], so I gotta keep the surprise guests to a minimum. I might give you Jazmine [Sullivan]. I might give you something nice and soft and something nice and hard. It's gonna be a good look, though. I feel real good about his one this year."

Jadakiss was also recently on Angie Martinez's Hot 97 radio show and hinted that we may see DMX. "He's real close. The Dog is around. He's doing good. He's chillin' with family. You'll see him in a minute." DMX is also confirmed to be on Jada's "Who's Real" remix.

In anticipation of Summer Jam, we have a few dream choices for people we would like to see come out and touch that stage. These are not spoilers, just our imaginations running wild ...

Usher, Akon And More Honor Young People At The Do Something Awards

Awards honor Darius Weems and other young people making positive changes in the world.

In 2005, Darius Weems set out from Georgia on a quest to travel across the country to Los Angeles and fulfill his dream. While that sounds like a typical, almost clichéd story, Darius' journey was just a bit different.

The 15-year-old suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), an ultimately fatal genetic disease that also claimed the life of his older brother, and is confined to a wheelchair. But along with 11 college-age kids, Darius rented a wheelchair-accessible RV and headed West to increase awareness about DMD, raise much-needed funds for the disease and convince MTV to customize his wheelchair on "Pimp My Ride."

They filmed the entire journey for a documentary that went on to garner 28 film-festival awards worldwide and raise $1.6 million for DMD. On Thursday night at the Do Something Awards at New York's Apollo Theater, Darius was honored for his commitment to working for positive change.

Usher, Akon, Russell Simmons and Lil Mama were among those in attendance to honor Darius and the four other young people receiving awards. The night's overall winner, a 22-year-old named Maggie Doyne who set up a school and orphanage in Nepal, received $100,000 in community grants.

After Darius accepted his award and a $10,000 grant, our own Sway Calloway surprised the teenager with news that his doc, called "Darius Goes West," will air on MTV2 and mtvU in the fall.

"I just hope my story lives on and resonates in the community and in schools, and I just hope the story lives on and is able to motivate people for years and years to come," Darius told MTV News.

Usher urged young people to remember that everyone has the ability to give back to the community. "Raw power is truly in service," the singer said. "You can make a difference. Every time that you experience some sort of change, it took labor. It took physical time to make a change."

Akon, who founded his own charitable foundation, couldn't have been happier to come out in support of Darius and his fellow winners. "My main thing is always about the kids at the end of the day," Akon said. "That's why we even started the Konfidence Foundation was to create a better environment for the kids. This right here is the blessing of it. These are the reasons why I am who I am."

Simmons echoed that sentiment. "Whenever you see young people doing good or giving — it's an inspiration because it's mostly from the heart," he said. "When we cultivate that or we push for that, then they become great citizens. You know we are born for service. I don't want to get too deep, but it's a science of service. When you fit into it right, then you are happier."

Lil Wayne Releases 'Kobe Bryant' Track, Predicts Lakers Victory

Lil Wayne might have appeared in a commercial with LeBron James during the regular season, but the Cash Money lyricist makes no apologies to the reigning MVP when it comes to his allegiances at playoff time: Weezy released a new track on the eve of the NBA finals called "Kobe Bryant."

The song is an ode to the Los Angeles superstar, who hours later would lead the Lakers to a one-sided win over the Orlando Magic 100-75.

Bryant led the way with 40 points in the blowout, and as Wayne's track notes, "Kobe doin' work/ 2-4 on my shirt/ He's the greatest on the court/ And I'm the greatest on the verse."

The New Orleans rapper is a longtime LeBron fan, but in his ESPN the Magazine blog last month, he predicted Bryant and the Lake Show would overtake the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the championship.

"Anyway, so now we're looking at a Lakers versus Cavaliers final, and that's going to be amazing," Wayne projected. "Kobe won't get the best of LeBron, but the Lakers will get the best of the Cavs. I'll be rooting for the Lakers, and LeBron already knows that. So it's not like I'm gonna show up in a Kobe jersey and make 'Bron Bron cry. He knows I've been a Laker fan my whole life so it's all good. That don't mean he likes it, but he ain't gonna cry when he sees me at the games screaming for Pau Gasol and Trevor Ariza."

Wayne assumed, like most everyone else, that the finals would be a matchup between the NBA's two brightest stars, but Cleveland didn't hold up their end of the bargain. However, after Thursday's dazzling performance, it looks like the Lakers will.

Lil Wayne's Rebirth LP is due later this summer, and at press time it looked like a strong possibility he'll be touring with Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy Tell'em and Drake.

One of Lady Gaga's early supporters was Akon. Not only did he sign the reigning disco queen to his record label, Kon Live Distribution, but he has also lent his vocal talents to her breakout hit "Just Dance."

And now that Gaga is a household name, he couldn't be happier to see her ruling charts and dance floors throughout the world. "She's incredible," he told MTV News. "That's my franchise player at the moment. Gaga's been so incredible."

Akon says Gaga's rocket launch to fame is due to her industrious work ethic, and he thinks that every one of her hits is well-deserved. "At this point, she deserves every bit [of fame]," he said of the singer, who herself credits the gay community for helping make her successful. "If anybody went through grassroots, it was Gaga."

While the mainstream has been discovering Gaga via radio play and her appearances on "Dancing With the Stars" and "American Idol," the hip-hop community has also been tuning in, especially after Kanye West reimagined her song "Poker Face."

"I think she's a magnate to the industry in general," he said about Gaga's being embraced by the hip-hop world. "She's brave. She's fresh. She's different. She's bold. She don't give a damn. You gotta take her as she is. That's the beauty of it. You're forced to like her the way she is without no extra stuff added."

And it's her no-nonsense attitude that makes Akon love her so much. "She's like a sister to me," he said. "That's like my girl. She's right here, in a headlock!"

NBC Exec Slams Heidi And Spencer For 'Celebrity' Antics

'They are everything that's wrong with America,' network VP Paul Telegdy says.

It's been a whirlwind week on "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" Within the first few episodes, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt had left the show only to return a day later. By episode four, an additional celebrity, Daniel Baldwin, had been brought in, while Angela V. Shelton of Frangela was voted off.

And next week will have more drama, as one of the show's executives promises that Speidi will definitely be put through the wringer on Monday, when it will be revealed whether or not they'll be allowed to stay.

"They are everything that's wrong with America," NBC's executive vice president of alternative programming Paul Telegdy told Ryan Seacrest. "They are insincere, lazy, entitled, and they claim the devil has possessed them. They are back, and this time they are contrite. ... Yeah, right. What they don't realize is that they are now going to be examined, and their value system utterly deconstructed."

Right now, the couple's fate is in the hands of their co-stars, many of whom are not happy with the way the couple acted before deciding to leave and equally unhappy that they think they can just come back. "They are going to spend the night somewhere in isolation and guarded with lots of surprises ... but not traditional reality [stunts]," Telegdy said, explaining how Speidi will have to prove they want to be on the show. "These people really are going to bare their souls."

On Wednesday night's episode, Montag claimed that the devil had convinced them to leave the jungle. "We realized that we made a big mistake and that the devil got to us and said, 'Get out of the jungle,' " Heidi said. "We realized it's not even about us. It's about the charities, and it's about the experience here, and we really took it for granted. We want to win back everyone."

When reached for comment by MTV News, a rep for Heidi and Spencer had no comment.

Miss any of "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" this week? Then tune in to MTV Sunday at 12 p.m. ET for a marathon of the week's episodes, followed by "The Hills Presents: Speidi's Wedding Unveiled."

NEW YORK — With the rain pouring down and a melodic voice resounding through the streets, hundreds of fans braved the storm to hear songs from the Dave Matthews Band's new album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King.

Outside of the "Today" show studio, fans were lined up for two blocks surrounding Rockefeller Center, some of whom had been waiting since 11 the night before. Before going on air, Dave joked with the crowd, asking them to bring him a "ham sandwich with cheese and coffee," because he was unable to sleep the night before.

The concert began with an old favorite, "So Much to Say," and the fans were almost louder than Dave Matthews as they sang along. To introduce their new CD, DMB played the new single "Funny the Way It Is," which some say pays tribute to saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who died in August, with the line about a "soldier's last breath."

When the band began playing their older favorite "Crash," the rain suddenly turned into a downpour, but the umbrellas were put away as the crowd embraced the soothing music and cool shower. After playing another oldie, "Ants Marching," Dave threw his guitar picks in the crowd. He later had to track down one of those picks to play an encore song, "Alligator Pie."

To thank his fans for sticking out the storm, Dave shook hands with crowdmembers before heading back inside.

The Dave Matthews Band will begin their summer tour July 8 in Bridgeview, Illinois.
