Even the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, slows down long enough to get hip to all the talk around our 2009 Hottest MCs in the Game list. The Jamaican track champ has been unstoppable the past few weeks, and when it comes to the mic, he gives a gold medal to the Carters.

"When I was in the Olympics," he told us, "I didn't really listen to music. During the Olympics, it was mainly reggae, a little hip-hop. But I like Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, those guys. That's who we listen to in Jamaica. A little bit of Ludacris. But as long as it's hot, we got it."

When asked for his #1, Bolt chose Weezy F. Baby. (To see what it takes to make the list, check out our Hottest MCs criteria.)

"Right now, it's Lil Wayne, #1," he said. "He's hot. He's got everything. He sings the right tunes. I'm seriously listening to all his songs right now. Really sitting down, listening to his lyrics, and he's got his lyrics [down] pat now. He's got his lyrics. He's coming up like Jay-Z. He's smooth. He's got a different flow from Jay-Z, but lyrics-wise, he's got it. He's a lyricist. Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, I don't care who comes third. These guys have the whole place on edge, man. It's hot."

Bolt said he's getting into the mixtape circuit as well, and on the reggae tip, Vybz Kartel and Beenie Man are the tops for him.

Bolt is coming off a successful run (pun intended) through Germany, where he broke world records and took home a few more gold medals. Put your bling up against his!

Chris Brown Sentenced To Five Years' Probation

Judge also kept in place a protective order to keep Brown away from ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Chris Brown was formally sentenced in a Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday (August 25) stemming from his February altercation with then-girlfriend Rihanna.

The terms of the plea deal the singer agreed to last month in the case are largely the same, including 180 days of community labor work, a year of domestic-abuse counseling and five years' probation. The judge, however, did not lift the protective order issued against Brown, warning him that he must stay away from Rihanna for five years, until August 25, 2014, when his probation period is over.

Judge Patricia Schnegg then told Brown she is not one to believe hearsay, but she informed the singer she was "not immune from the chatter that has been on the airwaves" about meetings between the couple. When asked if he understood the protective order and the conditions — which require the singer to stay at least 100 yards from Rihanna or 10 yards away from her during music-industry events they both attend — Brown quietly told the judge "yes."

Brown arrived to the proceedings 10 minutes early and sat next to his attorney, Mark Geragos, without saying much. He wore a dark, pinstripe suit and appeared stern throughout. At one point, he answered the judge prematurely, earning a playful rebuke from Schnegg and he flashed a brief smile.

The proceedings were swift as Schnegg confirmed the previously agreed to conditions, including that Brown complete his labor service and counseling in his home state of Virginia. Schnegg also said that Brown would be supervised directly by the Richmond police chief.

Brown was due to be sentenced earlier this month, but Schnegg said the court needed more time to verify Virginia's labor-service intensity. Judge Schnegg told Brown she wanted him to do manual labor for his commitment — including graffiti removal, trash pickup and washing vehicles — rather than community service.

The singer will be required to report to a probation officer in Los Angeles and return to California every three months to see Schnegg. Brown is scheduled to appear back in court November 19 to update the judge on his status, which will include proof of his enrollment in a domestic-abuse program by the Commonwealth Catholic Charities. Brown is due to report to probation in 72 hours following Tuesday's hearing.

In addition to the terms of his plea deal and the protective order, Brown must also pay a number of fees and fines, while also being subject to random searches and seizures.

Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, was also present at the hearing. Rihanna did not press charges against Brown, but her lawyer had attended other court dates since the incident. Etra declined to speak on the nature of his client's relationship with Brown and would not comment regarding the sentence.

He did say Rihanna was told at the last hearing, which she attended, the conditions of Brown's plea deal and did not object to the punishment. At the last hearing, Etra stated that Rihanna did not wish to impose the protective order, but the judge said she would keep it. Rihanna may move to modify the terms, Etra explained, but it's under the court to decide to change it or not.

"There were no surprises in court this afternoon. The court imposed the sentence," Etra told reporters outside the courthouse. "Rihanna was advised of the plea agreement before it was entered by Mr. Brown. She did not object at that time. The stay-away order was imposed by the court."

Aubrey O'Day Looks Back On Her Danity Kane Days

It's been almost a year since Danity Kane were disassembled. And, in that time period, the ladies have moved on to separate projects and have reflected on their time together.

"I've spoken and kept in touch with Aundrea [Fimbres], Shannon [Bex] and D. Woods," she said. "I think everybody's kind of getting back to who they were before processing what happened. Sometimes I get random calls of apologies or I'll call and apologize for things we are processing from the past."

O'Day said Bex is hard at work on a country album, while D. Woods is recording music and Fimbres is taking some time with her family and is looking to get back into the studio. "We all just wanted to be entertainers in life," she said. "All of a sudden, we got swept up in this huge mess of a situation that basically all we really were was dolls, a big mass production moved around in order to make money and have power. We were just dolls.

"Here we thought we really believed in it all," she continued. "But at the end of the day, that's what you really are. We only saw the music. We only saw each other, and then there were cameras all the time. I think a lot of internalizing has been going on with the three girls that I mentioned."

As for the music Dawn Richard is making with Diddy for his Last Train to Paris album, she's cool with that. "I haven't heard any of that, but I wish them the best of luck," she said. "They're both very talented people. ... I wish everybody the best, all four of those women. I wish them the most success. I think all of us should and could and hopefully will be great at what we love to do best."

Just hours after Chris Brown was formally sentenced to five years' probation on Tuesday (August 25), TMZ and Us Weekly have reportedly obtained court documents claiming that Brown was involved in two previous "domestic violence" incidents with Rihanna before the February altercation.

According to a probation officer's report filed with the court for Brown's sentencing, Us reported, the incidents "related to domestic violence."

The report claims the first incident allegedly occurred in Europe last year, when Brown and Rihanna were in a "verbal dispute." She slapped him, and Brown responded by shoving her into a wall, according to the report.

And three weeks before Brown's arrest in February, the former couple were in Rihanna's native Barbados and got into an argument while driving. The report claims that Brown got out and broke both the driver's and front passenger-side windows. However, no one was injured, and the incident was not reported to authorities.

The terms of Brown's plea deal, which the singer agreed to last month, include 180 days of community labor work, a year of domestic-abuse counseling and five years' probation. The judge, however, did not lift the protective order issued against Brown, warning him that he must stay away from Rihanna for five years, until August 25, 2014, when his probation period is over.

Juelz Santana was arrested Tuesday morning (August 25) after an argument with police, but he is not in jail, according to the rapper's rep.

Santana and his son's mother had a dispute in front of his home in Teaneck, New Jersey, and neighbors called the police. When the cops arrived, Santana (born Laron James) was arrested after getting into an argument with authorities. He was taken to the station and then released. Juelz, an original member of the Diplomats and leader of new rap crew the Skull Gang, was not charged with a crime.

Juelz's rep said he is back at home now and refuted reports that went out earlier Tuesday saying he was in a verbal dispute with his "wife" in front of their child. Santana is not married, and no child was present during their argument or his arrest.

A rep for the Teaneck police said a report about the incident is still being compiled and no details are ready to be released.

Earlier this year, Santana spearheaded the debut compilation from the Skull Gang and has been at work on his new mixtape, The Regan Era. Santana also has an album in the works called Born to Lose, Built to Win, which is coming out on Def Jam. The Harlem native has not released a solo album since 2005 but has remained a viable hip-hop commodity through his various mixtapes (some of which featured leaked songs from an unreleased duet album with Lil Wayne called I Can't Feel My Face) and a string of guest appearances the past several months alongside Jim Jones on "Pop Champagne" and "Dancing on Me."

Chris Brown Must Stay Away From Rihanna For Five Years -- Unless ...

Lifting stay-away order is judge's decision, not Rihanna's.
By Jayson Rodriguez

Chris Brown was finally sentenced for the altercation he was involved in with Rihanna earlier this year and although much of what occurred on Tuesday (August 25) was simply putting a stamp on the agreement reached in June, one thing that stood out was that the protective order issued against the "Forever" singer was not lifted.

Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown he could not have any contact with his former girlfriend for the next five years. And changing that decision is more complicated than it might seem.

During Brown's last hearing, when he reached a plea deal in the case, Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, informed reporters afterward that his client didn't feel the order, known as a "stay away," was necessary. Rihanna had been granted a protective order in the past against Brown in the aftermath of their altercation, but that order was not as intense as the guidelines of the much stricter protective order mandated by Schnegg.

Etra reiterated on Tuesday that the protective order was not under his control, as it was a decision made by the court.

"Rihanna was advised of the plea agreement before it was entered by Mr. Brown — she did not object at that time. The stay-away order was imposed by the court," he said. Under the conditions of the order, Brown must stay at least 100 yards from Rihanna and not threaten, harass, or in any other way make her life uncomfortable. Should the former couple appear at the same event due to their careers, the distance kept between the two will be reduced to 10 yards. Etra said his client was advised what she must do if she chose to modify the arrangement.

"At the [last] hearing, the court stated that Rihanna could modify the set plan," he explained. "Rihanna knows what her legal options are if she wants to see a modification of the order. Once again, the court did explain to her when she was present in court in June. "

According to legal expert Peter T. Haven, however, a modification of the order may not be that easy. Haven was present in the courtroom at the time Brown's plea deal was announced and said Judge Schnegg was adamant about the stay-away order. He suggested that the judge likely wanted to protect the singer just as much as the victim by issuing the protective order.

"She was kind of tough-minded at the last hearing ... she wanted [Brown] to do labor service, not community service," he explained. "And she made a point of saying she wasn't gonna lift that stay-away order — she wasn't even gonna consider lifting it until after he started to get some counseling. She was very adamant about that. She made a point about that. And when the victim stepped forward and said, 'I don't really need this order, I'm comfortable with just a do-not-harass order,' the judge basically said, 'No, you really need to understand — I really need this in place.' And a judge with [Schnegg's] experience may have lots of reasons for doing that. She may see people fall back into trouble or get themselves in comprising situations or difficulties that she doesn't want to happen."

As it stands now, Brown would not be able to have any contact with Rihanna until August 25, 2014. The judge warned Brown that she has heard chatter about the two reuniting at different points — the remark by Schnegg was something that should be taken very seriously, Haven insisted.

"That's something that really irks a judge," he said. "A judge's order is a judge's order. They don't like their orders messed with or disregarded. No judge would like the concept of their orders being undermined by anyone."

The protective order may be revisited over the course of the next year, when Brown visits the judge as he's required to do every three months. But Haven advised that if either Brown's camp or Rihanna's camp attempt to make a motion against the order, the judge may be wary regarding the reasons. The issue, he said, is more a matter of what Judge Schnegg feels is best as opposed to the wishes of the former couple.

"The judge is basically the keeper of her own orders," he said. "She gets to decide when to lift them, when to modify them, when to not modify them."

The Fox News host calls rapper 'a regular Otis Redding' after playing leaked track.

Bill O'Reilly is back at it again. The conservative talk-show host criticized Jay-Z on Monday, a day after the leak of the rapper's new song, "Off That," which takes aim at "The O'Reilly Factor" host, among others.

"This ain't black versus white, my n---a, we off that/ Please tell Bill O'Reilly to fall back," Jay-Z raps over electro synths courtesy of Timbaland. On the track, which also features Drake, the Brooklyn MC also fires off a salvo at right-wing radio host Rush Limbaugh. Jay-Z charges both men with stirring up racist sentiments before closing his verse saying, "It's 2010, not 1864."

In a segment on his show titled "Reality Check," O'Reilly played the song, highlighting the lyrics in question, before quickly dismissing the barb and moving on.

"A regular Otis Redding, isn't he," O'Reilly responded, sighing.

This isn't the first time the two have tangled. O'Reilly, a noted hip-hop hater, lashed out at Jay-Z and Young Jeezy earlier this year during the presidential inauguration, when Jay premiered his verse to Jeezy's hit, "My President," at Washington D.C.'s club Love.

O'Reilly and comedian Dennis Miller alleged that the song was harmful to America. The dustup lasted a few days but ultimately subsided.

O'Reilly has a long history of going after rappers. In the past, he has been in feuds with Nas, Ludacris, and Eminem. Cam'ron is the only rapper to have appeared on the show, for a segment involving hip-hop's influence on education. He and Dame Dash disagreed with O'Reilly before the host cut them off and ended the segment.

Chris Brown Fans React To His Sentencing

Fans — and detractors — sound off on Brown's legal woes on MTV.com.
By James Montgomery

On the day Chris Brown was formally sentenced for his February altercation with then-girlfriend Rihanna, his fans (both current and former) have taken to MTVNews.com, letting us know their reactions to the news.

As a result of a plea deal he struck last month, Brown received five years probation, 180 days of community labor work and a year of domestic-abuse counseling. The judge in the case, however, failed to lift the protective order issued against the singer, warning him that he must stay away from Rihanna for a period of five years' — until August 25, 2014 — when his probation period ends.

But what do his supporters — and detractors — think of the sentence? Did Brown get off easy, or are the terms of his deal unfair? Here's what MTV.com users had to say.

"I wish people will just get off his back and move on already. Let him serve his time and get on with his life. Rihanna did so why is it so hard for y'all to move on?" AngelEyes 10 said. "You know the saying 'Forgive and Forget'? Even if y'all cant forgive like me, please do us all a favor ... and forget. It's in the past. I know y'all caring about Rihanna but y'all ain't doing her no favors constantly bringing it up. She put that in the past and moved on already."

Randie thought Brown's punishment should have been harsher, saying, "Good, hope he gets 30 years or more in jail, that would teach him not to hit a woman."

"While I completely agree with you Randie, unfortunately I don't think the judge will be changing his sentence to that extreme. We would be lucky to have Chris have to spend even three days in jail," FLCutie1981 offered.

Flymikei was satisfied with the judgment, saying, "Sweet. This jackass has to learn that even as a celebrity, there are consequences for everything."

However, Music_2Lover has hope for Brown's future. "Is the legal side of this finally over? I'm ready to see him try to salvage his career. That should be fun to watch."

'She looked like she'd put a lot of hard work into it, and it paid off,' 'Hills' star says.

Kristin Cavallari, who will join "The Hills" cast for the show's next season, has plenty of praise for castmate Heidi Montag's performance at the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday night.

"I was really impressed," Cavallari reportedly told UsMagazine.com at a Nylon magazine party in Los Angeles on Monday night. "It reminded me of Britney Spears at the VMAs — whatever year that was — when she ripped off her suit and was, like, nude with sparkles. She kind of looked like that."

She's referring, of course, to Britney's 2000 performance of "Oops, I Did It Again" at the VMAs, and Montag has spoken at length about her admiration for Britney. Montag's outfit for her performance of "Body Language," the first single from her self-titled album (due September 29), clearly showed that influence.

"She looked like she'd put a lot of hard work into it, and it paid off," Cavallari added.

While Montag got praise from Cavallari, sister-in-law Stephanie Pratt and, of course, husband Spencer Pratt for her performance, not all of the comments were positive. But she said she doesn't care what people think.

"I think people don't know what to expect, and how can they?" she told The Associated Press before hitting the stage at the pageant. "It's my first performance live and it's in front of a billion eyes. So I'm very excited to show everyone what I'm coming with."

Afterward, she took to Twitter to talk about the performance, for which she wore nude-colored, sequined track pants and a matching bra that looked very similar to Britney Spears' 2000 Video Music Awards outfit. Backup dancers flanked Montag as she danced and lip-synched to "Body Language." "Last night was one of the best nights of my life!!!!" she wrote. "I had so much fun! my first performance! thank you God!"

In the hours leading up to the show, Heidi tweeted about being excited for the pageant: "All things are possible with God! dreams do come true! enjoy every moment of this short life!!"
