There's a lot of big mixtape news this week, including our full report Friday on Lil Wayne's No Ceilings tape. Make sure to come back later for a nice exclusive for your weekend. But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, here's a little jewel from our sit-down with Jay-Z.

The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive

Young Jeezy and Young Hov have not yet filmed a video for "Real as It Gets." Earlier this month, Jeezy told us he and Jay-Z would be filming a decadent clip for the record.

"We just gonna go dumb," Jeezy forecasted. "Call Rick [Ross] up, everybody. [We'll have] cars, watches, blunts, money, just go dumb. Dumm-meeee! That's what we need to do."

We spoke to Jay-Z earlier this week, and Jigga said the clip is still in the cards; they just have to figure out scheduling.

"We're trying to do that now as well," Jay said of the video. "Hopefully, we'll shoot that. But it's difficult. I don't have too many gaps in my schedule. So I'll try to figure it out. I really wanna do it in Atlanta."

Jay is currently on a tour of mostly colleges, and the rap legend said he's already planning a tour for early 2010 that Jeezy might be going on as well.

"Yeah, that's a possibility," Hov said. "Young Jizzle — I got a great relationship with him. I think he's one of those guys that's gonna be here for a minute. People are interested in what he has to say. It's not about a song, although he makes great songs. It's more about what he has to say or what he has to offer: music that is sustainable, which is great and will be around forever."

Streets Is Talking: News And Notes From the Underground

Maino has become the go-to guy for artists who need a surprise at their New York shows. Alicia Keys, the Game, T.I., 50 Cent and, last night, Mario have all called on the Brooklyn MC. And Main said: Why shouldn't they?

"Like Jay said: People lie, but numbers don't," Main boasted in Mario's dressing room at the Izod Center in New Jersey during Power 105's Powerhouse '09 concert. "If you look at the numbers, I'm probably the most consistent new artist from New York. When you step outside of New York, I'm one of the only new artists from New York that get spins all over the country. My single is platinum; numbers don't lie. We bringing the plaque back to Brooklyn. I'm running around like I ain't never had nothing before. They gonna say, 'We seen Maino walking up Fulton [Street] with a platinum plaque.' Got-damn right!"

Maino is already working on a new LP.

"It's coming," he promised. "I'm putting out a new record next week. I ain't gonna talk about it; I'm just gonna put it out."

50 Cent Goes 'Psycho' With Eminem On Before I Self Destruct Leak

Well, at least 50 Cent knows people are dying to get their hands on his album. Unfortunately, Fif definitely didn't want fans to hear his new music this early.

On Wednesday (October 28), 50's Before I Self Destruct leaked almost a month before its planned November 23 release date. There has been no comment from 50 or Interscope Records as of press time.

For the most part, Self Destruct is the rugged, gangsta, hardcore hip-hop Fif has said is missing from the game. The album opens with a song called "The Invitation," which tells the firsthand story of a drug baron who loses a friend in a shooting but bounces back and gets retribution and grows even more menacing. "You want some? Come get some," 50 says bluntly on the chorus. "N---a, it's murder one when you see my gun/ I just squeeze and squeeze till the whole clip done/ You just bleed till the cops come."

"Death to My Enemies" isn't any less harsh. "Boy, I'll put your body in my bag," Fif sings along to a deranged melody. Later, the listener is left to dissect whether he is throwing a jab at Lil Wayne or referencing the infamous crack haven from the film "New Jack City." "This ain't the Carter, n---a, this is Sparta/ It's harder, I'll die, I'll be a martyr/ Respect me like your father."

On the very next record, there is no need to infer anything. 50 gets very blunt on "So Disrespectful," calling Young Buck a drug addict and the Game jealous. "C'mon, Game, you'll never be my equal," he raps. "Your homies shoot doors, my n---as shoot people/ See me, I'm what you're never gonna be/ I'm in that tax bracket you're never gon' see.

"I ain't know he f---ed with more dope than B.G./ Plus a n---a sip more syrup than Pimp C," Fif continues on the track. "Man, keeping these mutha----as rich ain't easy/ Especially when a n---a wanna stunt like Jeezy/ And his CDs didn't sell like his CDs/ Man that n---a blew all his chips on them breezies/ Mad cause the world won't treat him like Weezy."

"Psycho" features Fif's family member Eminem. "I'm a psycho, a sicko, I'm crazy," 50 declares on the hook. " ... You wanna see me shot up, locked up, cage me/ I'll come back bigger, stronger and angry."

Em checks into the psych ward, rapping, "Man, these are average raps, I'm keeping the savage batch hidden/ A can of whup-ass with the Shady-Aftermath lid/ You pop the top, it's like opening vats of acid/ Beat the Octo-Mom to death with a Cabbage Patch Kid."

Other guests on the album include R. Kelly and Ne-Yo.

Halloween is almost upon us, and there are several celebrities out there who would be perfect inspirations for your Halloween costume. Sure, you can dress like Bella and Edward from "Twilight," or you could even dress like Lady Gaga (more on that Friday). But how about teen-favorite rockers Tokio Hotel?

We caught up with TH's Tom and Bill Kaulitz to get their ideas for stepping into their shoes Saturday night. Bill said he has an easy look to copy, despite his glam exterior. All you need is a Mohawk, some makeup and fingerless gloves. "I think that's the easiest," he said of fans trying to emulate his look, adding that they'll also need "a leather jacket."

His brother, Tom, had some advice for aspiring Bills, making his brother laugh as he jokingly suggested: "Makeup, ugly face, ugly smile."

During an interview with the rockers last October, we surprised them with some Halloween candy after hearing that they were big fans of American sweets. "In Germany, we do not have Halloween, which is a shame. We do have some of this candy though," Bill laughed at the time, surveying the mounds of sweets before him. "We have M&Ms, we have these things here — Ritter Sport — and these too, [Kinder Surprise Eggs]. ... I'm not really into chocolate; I really love all the sour stuff. ... I just like the surprises [in the Kinder]."

It's Halloween Week, the spookiest time of the year and also the most fun. So as the leaves fall and it gets a bit colder, we here at MTV News decided to pay homage to the holiday by rounding up some of your favorite celebrities' Halloween memories and costume ideas — some even offer advice on how to dress up like them this year. So brace yourselves: You're in for one horrifying week!

Lady Gaga Says Monster Ball Tour Shows Her 'Evolution'

Monster Ball is about 'how I've changed over the years,' singer says.

Whether parading around with her disco stick or staging her own death at the VMAs, Lady Gaga knows how to put on a visually enticing show. In a recent interview with Dallas radio station KISS 106.1, the singer spoke about her upcoming Monster Ball Tour, which kicks off its 22-date run next month in Montreal.

"It's really amazing. The show is based on kind of this theme of evolution, which has a lot to do with how I've changed over the years, and kind of in a way, in a symbolic way of describing myself as a person, as Gaga," she said.

The Monster Ball was scheduled on the heels of her canceled Fame Kills Tour with Kanye West. Gaga said she wouldn't include any concepts from the tour that never was, but she did say that the show will tell a story in the performance-arts fashion fans expect. "I actually hatch out of an egg in the show. That's the beginning of the show. It's kind of the beginning of evolution. I begin as a cell," she revealed.

Gaga also talked about pre-packaged pop stars and the fact that she isn't one. The singer takes pride in her past, even if it took her a long time to get where she is today.

"In a way, I think it's kind of convoluted the way that people do think about it, because the assumption is that they believe that pop singers should kind of pop out of nowhere and be born and cracked out of an egg one year that the record label lays, and that's not the way that should happen," she told the radio station.

The Monster Ball will support the singer's re-packaged album, The Fame: Monster, which hits stores on November 24. Opening acts include Kid Cudi and Jason Derulo, who recently told MTV News that he'd be on the second half of the tour.

Lil Wayne No Ceilings Tracks Leak, But Full Mixtape Won't Drop Till Halloween

Check back Friday for a full report on mixtape!

No Ceilings? Not just yet! Lil Wayne is still in the studio working on his latest mixtape. On Wednesday morning (October 27) several songs from No Ceilings leaked onto the Internet, but the Young Money camp has assured MTV News that Weezy is still working on the mixtape (two songs from which leaked on the day of his guilty plea for attempted gun possession last week) and the full product will not land until Halloween.

BUT: On Friday, here on MTVNews.com, there will be a special edition of Mixtape Daily where you will get the full report on the mixtape, as well as info about where you can get it for free. Weezy might even check in himself.

Among the leaks is an interlude where Wayne explains why he wanted to make this project.

"Welcome," he says. "I appreciate you for having this. If you got this, if you're listening to this, thank you. This is for you. It's a big thank you for coming out to all the days and nights on tours, for coming and supporting me every single night. Even if you didn't come to the tour, it's just thank you."

Lyrically and stylistically, Weezy remains locked in. He trounces the track with grace, spewing humor and verbal spikes with barbaric tenacity.

"I'm higher than a super kick," he raps over Jay-Z's "Run This Town" beat. "I'm the bomb, baby, watch me nuke this sh--/ When I leave the booth, they gotta scoop the sh--/ My apologies, diabolically, I'm the prodigy ... Yeah, we run this town, like a lot of freaks/ Young Moo-lah baby, I'm proud of me."

Elsewhere, Wayne tackles the beat from Fabolous' "Throw it In the Bag" remix. "Swimming in Polo/ Sleeping in Jordans/ I bought a cell phone and I don't even much call it ... Wake her in the morning, breakfast where she slept at/ Tell her go shopping/ I can't wait until she get back ... You can't be broke and happy, so me, I'm mad rich!"

Britney Spears hit her Web site Wednesday (October 28) to announce that the video for her provocative single "3" would debut in "1...2...3" days. She also promised fans some revealing sneak peeks before the clip's Friday premiere.

"1...2...3 days until the premiere of my new video, but don't stress," she wrote on BritneySpears.com. "I will be sending out lots of pics and clips for the next 3 days."

The pop princess has already delivered two pictures from the video on her Twitter page: one of her holding her hair up on her head and an innocent-looking close-up.

Spears has been teasing fans with "3" video news for a while now, posting pictures and details from the clip's set on her Twitter and Web site. "I am so happy y'all love it because I do this all for you," she tweeted October 14. "I can't wait till you see the video!" The week before, she informed her followers, "2nd day shooting my 3 video in LA with Diane Martel. Lot's of new choreography from Tone & Rich. It's gonna be hot!"

Spears also took to Twitter to thank her fans for making her new track an instant hit. "I want to thank my fans for making '3' the #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100," she tweeted. "I am truly blessed with the greatest fans in the world."

With "3," Spears is the first artist to break onto the singles chart at #1 since Taylor Hicks did it three years ago, and she's the first non-"American Idol" alum to pull off that feat since Lauryn Hill broke into the Hot 100 with "Doo Wop (That Thing)" in 1998.

Gucci Mane's second album, The State vs. Radric Davis, isn't due in stores until December 8, but MTV News has already obtained the album cover. On the cover art, Gucci is obviously reflecting on his much-publicized legal problems, appearing in an orange prison jumpsuit while resting his head in his right hand. His right wrist is handcuffed.

Gucci recently released a single, "Spotlight," with a co-star appearance from Usher. The song has a pure party vibe as the Gucc discusses his excursions with women.

"The spotlight ain't nothing without you, girl," Usher sings over Polow Da Don's ATL-bounce beat. "And the dance floor ain't nothing without you, girl/ You a showstopper/ Let's get it poppin'."

Polow said the song came about because Gucci wanted to experiment.

"He did the hard part," Polow said. "He owns the streets right now. All I did was what was easy for me — take what he's built and capitalize off it. We work hand-in-hand because I understand the pop side and I understand the street side and I'm from Atlanta. Usher, Gucci, Polow, it is what it is. It was a natural vibe. Me and Gucci did a bunch of records. That's like my boy, we talk every day. So we went in and made some records. [Gucci] was like, 'I wanna do something crazy, something the people won't expect.' "

Polow said it was easy to get Usher to jump on the hook once he and Gucci laid the foundation.

"One night me and Usher were hanging out, listening to records," Polow recalled. "Gucci did some songs with Usher for his album anyway, so Usher was going to do something for his album. He heard the record and wanted to do it. It was on some kicking it and vibing. It just happened."

Chris Brown's 'Crawl' Video Makes A 'Big Statement,' Director Says

'What he does in the video will speak for itself,' Joseph Kahn tells MTV News of upcoming clip.
By Jocelyn Vena

Chris Brown's video for "I Can Transform Ya" is a high-octane, special-effects-driven dance video. But for his next single from December's Graffiti, the ballad "Crawl," Brown wants to show the world how he's feeling after his very public breakup with Rihanna.

For the "Crawl" clip, Brown reunited with "Transform" director Joseph Kahn, who said the R&B singer got really personal in the video.

"I think of the two videos, 'Crawl' is my favorite one, because — gosh, I'm going to let you in on this — 'cause it's probably his most personal thing he's ever done," Kahn said of the video, which features Bad Boy singer Cassie. "I mean, everything that's happened to him in the year, I think this is going to be his big statement, in terms of what he's feeling and what he's living through right now."

Although he wouldn't divulge too much about the video's concept, he said Brown had a very good idea of what he wanted to see in it. "It's my first ballad with Chris, and it was easy," he explained. "Again, it's another idea that he clearly had, in terms of what the genesis of the idea is. I don't even know if Chris is trying to say anything with the video. I think he just sort of, as an artist, I think Chris communicates more through what he does ... and so what he does in the video will speak for itself."

While Brown has faced a lot of negative attention over the past year — pleading guilty to felony assault after a February incident with then-girlfriend Rihanna — Kahn shared in a previous interview that he thinks it's time for people to move on and focus on Brown's talent.

"I know there's a lot of controversy with Chris," he said. "I would never, ever work with him unless he was the person I thought he was and he is, truly. The person that controversy happened to and the person that I know — there's a complete disconnect. Nothing can excuse all that stuff that happened, but everybody's human. That's a really big mistake, obviously, but he pays for [it] daily. When people say, 'Has he been punished enough?' Media crucifixion, check."

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — Anticipation was high at the Izod Center in New Jersey on Tuesday night as the crowd waited for Chris Brown to make his first concert appearance since his assault on Rihanna in February. He has expressed his remorse over the incident, and while he's on probation and serving his community labor sentence, he's also looking to forge ahead with his career. Brown released the video for "I Can Transform Ya" earlier this week, his Graffiti album is slated for a December 15 release, and his headlining performance at Power 105's Powerhouse concert on Tuesday serves as a preview of the Fan Appreciation Tour that begins on November 14.

As much as the ticket buyers were excited to see him, so were his fellow performers on the bill, all of whom expressed support for him.

"I can't wait to see Chris Brown get back onstage," Keri Hilson said shortly before Brown's showtime. "I think it's long awaited, due to the unfortunate circumstances. But I think everybody seems ready and anticipating his performance, and I think they're ready to kinda let that go. Just get back to what he's here to do: That's to entertain us. That's what he's so great at. I'm excited."

"He's gonna kill it," The-Dream declared. "There's never been a problem in his stage game. I am happy to see him back. I think he brings a certain type of energy to music that some of the best — [people] call themselves the best in R&B — don't go into themselves to find. I definitely think he's good for music."

The members of Day26, who were the first act to perform at the show, said they were going to stay until the end, just to see what Brown did.

"Big up to Chris Breezy," bandmember Willie Taylor said. "This has been a long sit-out. I'm going to be on the side of the stage checking it out. I know he's finnin' to take entertainment where he needs to be. I'm looking forward to it."

"I'm excited about him hitting the stage and coming back," Day26's Brian Andrews agreed. "I'm just proud the dude was brave enough to go back in the studio, do his thing. Get back up here, my hat's off to Chris Breezy."

"He always brings energy," Mario would say later. "He always brings a dope show."

Mario's "Break Up" co-star Sean Garrett also said he was looking forward to Brown's comeback in his personal and professional life. "I'm happy to see Chris move forward with his life. You never fully recognize how important your life is and your actions until it happens. We all love Chris. I'm just happy to see him back. I know he loves the stage. He loves performing. I just wanna see him live. It was a terrible situation for everybody involved. I love Rihanna. I love Chris, so does the world. I can't take no sides. I don't have a public opinion about what happened. I just wish them both the best. It's a lesson to be learned from this."

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz Explains His New Gabe Saporta Tattoo

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz isn't just a friend to Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta — he's also his label boss and friendly rival. As a result, the two have been maintaining a prank war for the past few months, culminating in a recent victory for Saporta.

Paying up on a bet he made a few months ago, Wentz got a new tattoo on his leg — a tattoo of Saporta's face.

"Well, I promised Gabe if 'Good Girls Go Bad' went platinum, I would let him pick a tattoo to put on me," Wentz said in a statement. "A man with such humble beginnings, of course, chose a self-portrait." As a result, there is now a permanent mark on Wentz's calf that features Saporta's face and the inscription "Gabey Baby Made Me Go Bad."

This is merely the latest shot in the public prank war that has been going on between Wentz and Saporta for months. Last month at the MTV Video Music Awards, Wentz wore a T-shirt that revealed Saporta's phone number, and while he was unable to reveal all the digits on the live broadcast, Saporta's number still got out there, forcing him to change it.

Saporta struck back a few weeks ago at Los Premios MTV, where he announced Wentz's e-mail address (in Spanish!) during the broadcast.

For those keeping score at home, Saporta is definitely in the lead, though according to Wentz, there may still be more to come. "I held through with the bet," Wentz said. "But let's see if Gabe holds through with his end of the bet if Hot Mess goes gold."
