Sean Kingston's friends were quick to rally around him after he was critically injured in a jet-ski accident over Memorial Day weekend. Fans worried about the singer, who suffered a number of injuries including a broken jaw, a fractured wrist and water in his lungs.

When his friend Justin Bieber heard the news of his pal's accident, he quickly wanted to see what he could do to help him out. The two had toured together on Bieber's 2010 headlining tour and appeared on several tracks together, including "Eenie Meenie."

"The first thing I heard was that Sean Kingston got into an accident and I was wondering what it was," Bieber told MTV News in an interview that aired Tuesday night during "MTV First: Sean Kingston."

"I had no clue, and finally my manager called me and he told me the info and they told me they were going to run it on TMZ and all this stuff," Bieber recalled. "And I didn't really know what to do."

Bieber was nowhere near Miami, where the accident occurred, and scrambled to get all the facts. "I was in Texas at the time, and I was just like, 'Do I need to go see him? What's going on?' " he continued. "And they were like, 'No, he's stable right now; he's fine. And we'll keep you updated.' And they kept updating me. I'm so glad that he's all right now."

During the special, Bieber promised that he knew he and Kingston, who he recently visited at his Miami home, had more fun in store for the future.

In a message to his pal, Bieber said, "What's up, Sean? I'm glad you're doing well. I had fun hanging out with you in Miami, and there's plenty more memories to come."

Jay-Z, Kanye Enlist Lucky Few Producers For Watch The Throne

Posted: 03 Aug 2011 03:53 AM PDT

While vets like Swizz Beatz, RZA and Neptunes contributed, newcomers Lex Luger, Southside and Jugganauts also got in the mix.

High-profile albums call for high-profile producers. So it should be no surprise that for Watch the Throne, Jay-Z and Kanye West recruited the likes of Swizz Beatz, the Neptunes, RZA and Pete Rock to help them craft a soundbed for their eagerly anticipated joint LP.

It wasn't all about the veterans, however. The Throne also gave some relative newcomers a chance to contribute.

"They reached out to me for the 'See Me Now' record; I co-produced that with Kanye," Virginia producer Lex Luger said about 'Ye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy bonus track. "So after that he wanted some more material, I flew to New York, and we were just vibing for a little while. He picked, like, two or three tracks, but he really liked that 'H.A.M.' track. It's a blessing."

In 2010, Luger broke out of relative obscurity after producing Waka Flocka Flame's "Hard in Da Paint" and Rick Ross' street anthem "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)." Recognized for his frantic synth keys, violent drum hits and hyped-up production style, Luger has since gone on to do beats for Wiz Khalifa, Soulja Boy and Fabolous, but raised his profile considerably with the Hov and Yeezy track.

"H.A.M." was the first leak from Watch the Throne and will now appear as a bonus track on the deluxe version of the album, as will "Illest Mother----er Alive," which was produced by Luger's buddy Southside.

Like Lex, Southside gained fame making beats on Waka Flocka Flame's Flockaveli album. With his Southern-fried sound, Southside was surprised that the Throne chose his track to include as a bonus track on the album. "It was on some straight trap music as they call it. Like, I couldn't believe that they did that beat," he said. "Working with them, that was crazy. That's a moment I'll never forget. I hope I get a lot more of those moments."

Sham "Sak Pase" Joseph and Verse Simmonds (collectively known as the Jugganauts) are no strangers to hitmaking. Together, along with reggae/pop group Rock City, the duo helped write and produce Rihanna's "Man Down." For Hov and Yeezy, they experimented with dubstep on "Who Gon Stop Me" and slowed things up for "Made in America."

The two tracks couldn't be more different. On "Who Gon Stop Me," Kanye and Jay deliver chest-pounding proclamations over an electro-infused dance track. "Made in America" is much more soothing, as the two MCs reminisce on their come-up. On the hook, Frank Ocean sings passionately about the black experience in America, paying homage to Malcolm X, Betty Shabazz and Coretta Scott King in his lyrics.

After getting a call from Def Jam VP of A&R Bu Thiam to submit tracks for WTT, the production pair got to work. "What we did is, we locked in a week, we just went crazy on everything Jay and Kanye," Simmonds told MTV News of the Jugganauts' big chance. "I remember telling Sham, I was like, 'Yo, I think this dubstep stuff is going to be the next new flavor that everybody gotta be on. It gotta have a hip-hop feel to it still.' "

On August 8, fans will finally be able to hear the long-awaited Throne album, which was first announced as an EP in August 2010. The project has since turned into a full-length project that has had the rap world buzzing for the first half of 2011. The recording — which took place in Paris, Australia and the Mercer Hotel in New York City — has resulted in a 12-track album with four bonus songs on the deluxe version. The wait is almost over!

Watch the Throne Week is on! Check in with MTV News every day until Wednesday, August 10, for exclusive content surrounding the release of Jay-Z and Kanye West's eagerly anticipated LP.

Lady Gaga: Straight, No Chaser

Posted: 03 Aug 2011 03:53 AM PDT

We observe Gaga in her natural habitat, with a good bottle of whiskey, in Bigger Than the Sound.
By James Montgomery

What is Lady Gaga's blood doing on the floor? We'll find out soon ...
Photo: James Montgomery/MTV News

Lady Gaga is sitting down, which is probably a good thing, considering she's wearing 6-inch heels and has spent roughly seven hours drinking whiskey with dudes who look like they were roadies for Bang Tango.

Drinking wasn't the only thing she did, of course. She also danced, vamped, sang, bled and underwent more costume changes than Evander Berry Wall — all over the span of one very long day on one very big soundstage in New York City. I'm not allowed to write about exactly what she was shooting (at least not yet), but suffice it to say, Gaga certainly deserved a few minutes of rest. Especially since she had spent the first part of the day filming a wearing an outfit that could only be described as "houndstooth overdrive."

And yet, throughout the day, as the top-secret shoot went on and on, I never heard her complain — not even close. At one point, during a performance setup, when the director asked if she'd be willing to film another take, she joked, "My voice can only last for another hour and a half ... the rest of me can go all night."

Everyone laughed, and not just because it was a funny line. There was an air of astonishment mixed in too. Simply put, no one seemed to believe that a star of this caliber would be this willing to work. And then work some more.

While it was certainly amazing to watch Gaga come to life when the camera was rolling, her work ethic isn't exactly breaking news. In a way, it was even more fascinating to observe her in the moments when it wasn't. Last year, I followed her every step at the Video Music Awards and discovered that, beneath the 35 pounds of Argentinean beef, she was actually a pretty normal person. That was only amplified Monday, on this soundstage in New York, in the rare moments she wasn't wowing everyone in attendance. Surrounded by her closest friends — all of whom were extras in the shoot, and some of whom came dressed in their Steel Panther finery — she was decidedly down-to-earth. Shockingly average, even.

She cracked jokes, held hands, poured drinks. She danced and cooed with her old friend Lady Starlight while "Heavy Metal Lover," a standout track on her Born This Way album, blared overhead. She whooped for joy whenever someone she hadn't seen in a while (and given her schedule, that was pretty much everybody) appeared on set. In fact, she seemed very much like every 25-year-old you'd meet, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Getting to be a fly on the wall is certainly one of the perks of this job; it allows you to see the mega-famous at their least guarded — for better or (as is sometimes the case) much worse. But it's the few instances I've been able to hover around Gaga's inner circle that remain the most revelatory, mostly because, as I wrote last year, her public persona is somewhere along the lines of "a pneumatic lion tamer with a penchant for creative haberdashery, or a fire-breathing neo-Shiva in sunglasses." To see her unwind with her pals, well, let's just say it's the kind of thing you don't forget, mostly because it's the most normal thing imaginable. Which, given pretty much everything you think you know about her, is downright unimaginable.

So while I can't tell you what I watched being filmed, I can tell you that Lady Gaga enjoys Jameson and has excellent comedic timing. And that told me more about her than any of her videos ever could. To a certain extent, we all think we know who Gaga is, even if that's not really the case. At ease, with a glass of strong booze, enveloped by her confidants — that's the girl few of us get to meet, which is a shame. She seems like a really fun person to hang out with.

What do you imagine Lady Gaga is like behind the scenes? Let us know in the comments!

Sean Kingston Details 'Life-Or-Death' Accident

'What the accident basically taught me is, in life, you have to count your blessings,' he says during 'MTV First: Sean Kingston.'

Sean Kingston sat down with MTV News on Tuesday night (August 2) and opened up for the first time about the jet-ski accident that landed him in the hospital. During "MTV First: Sean Kingston," the singer spoke candidly with Sway Calloway at his house in Miami about the day that changed his life forever, letting fans know that months after his jet ski crashed into a bridge near his home in Florida, he's now back and better than ever.

"I'm doing good. I'm feeling great. I'm excited. I'm happy," he said. "A lot of people don't know it was a deeper situation. I had open heart surgery and I had two other surgeries; it was a life-or-death situation."

Kingston — the Jamaican-American singer who broke onto the scene with the "Stand by Me"-sampling song "Beautiful Girls" and scored another hit with the Justin Bieber collabo "Eenie Meenie" last year — was rushed to the hospital May 29 after a jet-ski crash. He explained to Sway that he was going about 35 miles an hour when he miscalculated how high the tide had risen and collided with a bridge.

The singer revealed for the first time in the sit-down that just as he was being released from the hospital for injuries related to the crash, he was rushed into surgery to deal with a newly discovered heart condition. "They were gonna send me home, but then I had felt a pain in my left chest, and I told my mom," he explained. "They rushed me and they did a lot of scans on me, [and] they said I couldn't leave."

It was discovered that blood had filled up in his chest and his aorta was torn. He went into surgery several times to fix the condition, knowing that the risks were high, but he survived, and now he's focused on the positive. "I'm 100 percent right now," he said. "I've been in the house chilling, about to start work on my new album. I got L.A. Reid now as my new president. I got a story to tell now."

Kingston isn't taking his new lease on life lightly. "What the accident basically taught me is, in life, you have to count your blessings," he said. "You just got to keep God present at all times and think about the consequences."

During the chat, Kingston opened up about the details of the accident, talked about the support he's received from celebrity pals like Justin Bieber and Chris Brown, his new music and finally getting the chance to meet the man who saved him after he crashed. MTV News will be rolling out more from the interview with Kingston, who thanked his fans for all their support after the accident.

Jay-Z, Kanye West Host A Throne Party Under The Stars

NEW YORK — On Monday night, a long line formed outside the West 81st Street entrance of the American Museum of Natural History's Hayden Planetarium. And there was definitely some stargazing going on as fans, music-industry mainstays and famous friends gathered for a special listening of Jay-Z and Kanye West's upcoming Watch the Throne LP.

There were plenty of photo ops as Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Pusha T, actor Idris Elba and, of course, Hov and Yeezy, were in attendance, but there would be no picture-taking, tweeting or sound-recording as all entrants had to turn over their phones, iPods and other electronic devices at the door. After drinks and hors d'oeuvres, three separate groups were herded into the planetarium, which was much too small to accommodate all of the invited guests simultaneously. Once inside, the music played to a light show consisting of orbiting planets, shooting stars and dizzying black holes.

The listening session opened in grand fashion with the regal-sounding "No Church in the Wild." On it, Jay raps about tears that drop on a mausoleum floor and blood-stained coliseum doors, over a beat fit for two hip-hop kings. And the starlit setting couldn't have been more fitting for the Beyoncé -assisted "Lift Off." As the bouncy beat ushered its way in, celestial images danced across the planetarium's overhead screen. On the song, B belts out the song's hook, singing, "We gonna take you to the moon, take it to the stars, how many people you know can take it this far?" (Judging from the roll-out for Watch the Throne, the answer to B's rhetorical question is: no one.)

The RZA-produced "New Day" seemed to be a favorite among the energetic crowd, who danced to it in the aisles of the space theater. The song finds 'Ye talking to his unborn child, pledging to never let his son have an ego or to denounce an American president during a live telethon or relocate his mother to Hollywood — all personal details from Yeezy's life. It's not that 'Ye can't live with the regret, but rather that he's learned from his own mistakes and wants to keep his future children from repeating them.

"That's My Bitch" and "Who Gon Stop Me" are both kinetic affairs that will surely rock the clubs, though the latter, with its electronic feel, doesn't really sound like anything in hip-hop today.

"Made in America" features Odd Future singer Frank Ocean and finds the Throne contemplating their come-up. Kanye famously started out as a hit producer who had to prove himself worthy of rocking the mic. So, in the song's lyrics, 'Ye evokes a drug lord breaking the number one rule, as he rhymes, "I'm rappin' off of beats they supposed to buy/ I guess I'm gettin' high off my own supply."

The album closes with what could be another fan-favorite, judging by the reaction from the crowd: "Why I Love You." On the final track, the accomplished duo are feeling a bit underappreciated. "Wasn't I a good king?" Hov asks before rattling off the highlights of his rap reign, as if it were drawing to a close. Of course, when it comes to Jay-Z and retirement, fans should know better. Perhaps, Jay and Kanye would have been better off leaving the song open-ended because, based on the presentation of Monday night's event, it doesn't seem that either MC will relinquish the throne anytime soon.

Watch the Throne Week begins! Check in with MTV News every day until Wednesday, August 10, for exclusive content surrounding the release of Jay-Z and Kanye West's eagerly anticipated LP.

On Tuesday night (August 2), Sean Kingston sat down with MTV News to talk about a Memorial Day weekend jet-ski accident that landed him in the hospital for more than a month. In the weeks since his release, he's been working to get his life and career back on track, all of which he opened up about during "MTV First: Sean Kingston."

He's been getting support from his pals, like teen superstar Justin Bieber, who made his way down to Miami earlier this month to visit Kingston. The two have collaborated on several tracks, including "Eenie Meenie," and toured together last year.

The 17-year-old shared this message with us in an interview that aired during the special: "I just want to say what's up, Sean? I'm glad you're doing well. I had fun hanging out with you in Miami, and there's plenty more memories to come."

Bieber was spotted in Kingston's hometown, where the two buddies kicked back. "We were just hanging out at his house, kicking it, driving around Miami and whatnot," Bieber explained of the trip. "It was a lot of fun. I got to relax and take time off."

During his trip, Bieber got a chance to see how well the "Beautiful Girls" singer has been doing in the months since the crash, which led Kingston to make the decision to lose a significant amount of weight. "His spirits are a lot higher," he said. "He still has to have people around him to make sure he's doing all right, but his spirits are high, and he's doing well."

Lady Gaga Calls Terry Richardson Book 'Completely Unfiltered'

Posted: 02 Aug 2011 01:01 AM PDT

'I didn't hold anything back,' Gaga tells MTV News about upcoming photo book.
By James Montgomery

Lady Gaga
Photo: MTV News

Late last month, Lady Gaga announced she was teaming with photographer/provocateur Terry Richardson to release a hefty coffee-table book, one that features more than 350 photos of the singer taken by Richardson over the course of 10 months.

The two have worked together — with appropriately pulse-quickening results — several times in the past, most notably a September 2010 cover shoot for Vogue Hommes Japan that served as a sneak peek of the now-infamous meat dress she wore to the 2010 VMAs, and a clothing-optional campaign for Supreme in February 2011.

But if you thought those shots were shocking, well, get ready for the duo's book, which, as Gaga told MTV News on Monday night in New York, will push things even further.

"Terry was with me for [almost] a whole year, and, gosh, I didn't hold anything back from Terry ... he was with me every minute, every moment," she said. "It's completely unfiltered. He has photographs of me waking up in the morning, brushing my teeth, in the bathroom, in the bathtub, the shower. And the thing about Terry, if you know anything about his photography, is that nothing is staged; I mean, that's sort of what he is renowned for. He can get you to do things and he can capture things that no one can ever capture.

"What I love so much about Terry is that he thinks everything is so beautiful. I'm always, 'Oh Terry, get out of here,' and he's like, 'Oh, it's so beautiful, let me just shoot it,' " she continued. "I felt so comfortable with Terry. I love him so much. He's a really close friend, and I feel really honored that he traveled [with me]."

Gaga said the self-titled book (which hits stores November 22) not only showcases her whirlwind life — it follows her from the main stage of Lollapalooza to her Maine rally to repeal "don't ask, don't tell" to the final shows of her Monster Ball Tour in Mexico City — but the lives of her ultra-dedicated fans too. That was as much a goal as the unfettered access was. And, from the sound of things, the book manages to accomplish both.

"My favorite thing, honestly, is that [Richardson] loved the fans. He shot the fans the same way he shot me: with no pretense. No 'Well, she's put out records and they haven't.' None of that. The music was all of ours," she said. "He would come backstage and he would say, 'Oh my God, the fans!' And I'd say, 'I know ... I know what you just photographed.' And he'd say, 'Baby, wow!' And then he'd film me, like, peeing in a cup and, like, ridiculous things."

'Spider-Man' Director Defends Use Of 'Spidey Vision'

'I wanted there to be moments where you really feel and see the world through Spider-Man's eyes,' Marc Webb tells MTV News.

Behold, the glory of Spidey Vision! Perhaps that was the reaction "Amazing Spider-Man" director Marc Webb and his team were hoping fans would have when they peeped the final 30 seconds of the Marvel flick's first trailer, a first-person romp that puts viewers in the web-slinger's sight line as he swings from buildings and scales brick walls. But not everyone was sold on the inherent grandeur of this visual effect.

Maybe it was just a tad too reminiscent of mid-'90s first-person shooter video games like "Doom," the complaint went. Maybe Spidey Vision was neither revolutionary nor simply cool enough to warrant such lengthy and climactic placement in the trailer.

The whole thing left us wondering: just how much will Spidey's P.O.V. be a part of the finished film when it hits theaters next July? Not much at all, apparently.

"[There] are also moments we really wanted to embrace this experiential process of 3-D," Webb told us about Spidey Vision while at San Diego Comic-Con. "The teaser is a hint at some of that."

The great majority of the action, he promised, is grounded in realism and was accomplished not with CG trickery but down-and-dirty stunt performances. "We try very hard in the movie to make the stunt work grounded and real, and anything we could do live or practically, as they say, we did live or practically," Webb explained. "We built this huge rig on Riverside Drive in Harlem, a traveling rig of hundreds of feet, and we slung our Spider-Man over cars, through traffic in a real way, which hadn't been done before. That was really exciting."

So why even resort at all to a throwback effect like Spidey Vision? The better question might be, Why feature it so prominently in a trailer? But that's a separate matter. As Webb sees it, he wanted to capture, in three dimensions in the movie, what it really feels like for Peter Parker to propel himself through the cityscape. Hence the P.O.V. effect.

"We shot and conceived of this film in 3-D," he said, "and I wanted there to be moments where you really feel and see the world through Spider-Man's eyes. I wanted to get that visceral feeling. In 3-D, I thought there was something about the experiential process, in a big theatrical environment, that was really special that I had seen before. I was like, 'If I'm going to do a movie in 3-D, I want to give the audience that experience.' "

Check out everything we've got on "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Don't Sleep: Necessary Notables

Mixtape: The World's Most Hardest MC

Headliner: Styles P

Key Cameos: Jadakiss and Sheek Louch

Real Spit : The LOX's Styles P is a busy man. In between running his juice bar in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx, New York, and penning a new fiction novel, the Yonkers rap vet is prepping a mixtape that he's looking to release within the next two weeks and he plans to follow that with his fourth studio album in September.

"I'll probably drop a mixtape next week, the week after that, real soon: The World's Most Hardest MC and then Master of Ceremonies will be like September," Styles told Mixtape Daily on Monday.

Throughout his career, the Ghost has built a reputation for keeping his raps rooted in the street. Never one to water down his sound, on Most Hardest MC, P promises to once again deliver uncompromised hip-hop. "It's just gonna be hard. It's gonna be like the old feel, but kind of a new feel," he said before revealing that he will collaborate with his LOX partners Jadakiss and Sheek Louch for the tape. "Expect another crazy in and out with me and Kiss. Expect a joint with me and Louch. I'm just gonna kinda go ape on it."

Last week, Styles and Kiss released a freestyle over the beat to Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne single "Otis." While the LOX rendition has quickly become a fan favorite, Styles insists that for his mixtapes, there will be no retreads.

"I'm gonna do original beats," he declared. "The mixtape game kinda switched now, because I don't want the Feds knockin' at my door for using Weezy and Jay-Z and Kanye and everybody's beats, so you kinda gotta go original."

Miranda Cosgrove Calls Best Coast Video Cameo 'Surreal'

'She's really like your best friend,' the 'iCarly' star tells MTV News about 'Our Deal' director Drew Barrymore.

On Tuesday (August 2), California punk/pop rockers Best Coast premiered the video for "Our Deal," a single off their debut album, Crazy for You. The Drew Barrymore-directed vid features a ton of up-and-coming-celeb cameos, from Donald Glover to Miranda Cosgrove.

MTV News recently caught up with "iCarly" herself, and she told us the highlight of that very fun shoot was getting to work with Barrymore.

"I had a great time," Cosgrove said. "I've been watching Drew Barrymore movies ever since I was really little, so I was nervous to meet her."

Once on set, though, Cosgrove got over any nervousness about working with one of her biggest role models. "She's really like your best friend," Cosgrove said.

The video, which was shot back in June, takes pages from classic forbidden-love movies like "West Side Story," "Grease" and "Rebel Without a Cause." Cosgrove's co-stars, "Kick Ass" actress Chloë Moretz and "Teen Wolf" Tyler Posey, play star-crossed lovers from two rival gangs. Cosgrove, playing a member of the Night Creepers crew, gets beaten up by the Trotters gang, and that fight sparks a rooftop dance-off.

"It was me and Chloë Moretz," Cosgrove continued. "She's really sweet, and Tyler Posey from 'Teen Wolf.' I just started watching the show," she added about the MTV series. "It's really good."

The Best Coast video wasn't Barrymore's first turn in the director's chair — the A-list actress made her directorial debut with the 2009 flick "Whip It" — so what was she like on set?

"She's really laid-back and she was really excited to be doing the video and super into it," Cosgrove said. "She directed the whole video, which was really cool. It was really surreal."

Britney Spears' Tourmates Nervo Tease New 'Club Records'

Aussie twins tell MTV News they haven't strayed from dance music roots in spite of 'amazing' Femme Fatale Tour experience.
By Akshay Bhansali

With Britney Spears' flashy Femme Fatale Tour closing out its remaining North American dates later this month, it's fair to say that many of Ms. Spears' concert-going fans have gotten to know Olivia and Miriam Nervo pretty well.

In fact, when Brit first announced her Femme Fatale lineup back in April, promising on her website, "Nervo will get everyone on the dancefloor," dance music fans were ecstatic about the inclusion of the DJ/producer twins whose writing credits include a song for Spears and David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's "When Love Takes Over."

MTV News recently caught up with the Australian sisters (and former models), and they told us that bussing across the States and sharing the stage with Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys, and Brit herself, has been a stellar opportunity.

"We've definitely seen both the girls, [Britney and Nicki], and we interact with them," Miriam, a.k.a. Mim, told us. "You are traveling to each city and you see the same people every day and it really becomes a family. So it's been an amazing experience."

"It's an amazing show," Liv added. "The girls, the lineup really works well together. You've got Britney, who I think is looking the best she's looked in a really long time and who really gives it her all on this tour. And then you've got Nicki, who definitely brings her edge to it. I'd never seen Nicki live, and I'm just so blown away. The girl can sing, rap — total respect to her!"

As the Femme Fatale Tour winds down Stateside before heading to Europe, Nervo are now looking to expand the fanbase they've built in the U.S. But while Liv and Mim have been a part of what might be considered the mother of all pop music tours, the duo insist that they intend to remain true to their dance music and DJ roots.

"When we signed the record deal, it was really important to us that we could take our DJing seriously and release club records," Liv explained of their Astralwerks label.

"Yeah, we want to be DJ artists," Mim added.

"That's what we love so, luckily, we can release some club records alongside our Astralwerks album," Liv said. "It just so happens that the Astralwerks single that we're coming out with is with two major club guys: Afrojack and Steve Aoki. It's called 'We're All No One.' We love it!"

While Liv and Mim do the singing on "No One," the beats are delivered by hard-hitting EDM producer Aoki and David Guetta protégé Afrojack (who's also behind Pitbull's smash summer anthem "Give Me Everything." So exactly what should fans expect to hear? According to Liv and Mim, they should expect the unexpected.

"It doesn't sound anything like Afrojack or anything like Steve Aoki," Mim teased. "It's gonna be an interesting one. It could fly, and it could flop. It's very different. It's nothing like any of the stuff we've done with any of the pop stars we've worked with."

And Nervo have worked with a few. Though nothing is locked in yet, the twin sisters have been busy exchanging ideas with the likes of Omarion and Macy Gray, as well as dance music acts Avicii, Norman Doray and John Dahlbäck.

"We're All No One" drops later this month. Fans can catch Nervo on the Femme Fatale Tour's remaining U.S. dates and on select dates of the Identity Festival, America's first traveling EDM fest, which kicks off August 11 in Indiana.

Game has been making a lot of noise lately, and on Wednesday, the West Coast MC will continue to make headlines when he appears on MTV's "RapFix Live" at 4 p.m. ET.

With the release date for his oft-delayed The R.E.D. Album fast approaching, the Los Angeles rapper is making waves, first on his jarring "Uncle Otis" track, on which he pokes fun at everyone from Jay-Z and Kreayshawn to Marc Anthony. Opening the song going directly at Jigga, the Game spits, "N---as be chasing they youth, but it's gone/ Yo, 'Ye, this n---a ain't even wanna put you on." He later takes swipes at inaccuracies in the lyrics of Big Sean's hit single "My Last." "You turned around and put on Sean/ But forgot to tell him Beni Han Han don't sell no f---ing won ton."

It hasn't been all controversial, however: Last week, fans got a taste of Game's "Drug Test," which features Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, and on Monday, he leaked his Hood Morning (No Typo): (Candy Coronas) mixtape. On Wednesday, Game will talk about all his latest developments with Sway on the "RapFix" couch.

Diddy will also check into the show with a very special announcement, and there is no telling what the Bad Boy head honcho has up his sleeve.

Jay-Z and Kanye's Watch the Throne August 8 release date is less than one week away, and the anticipation and buzz has been steadily building. On Monday, the duo played the album for a select crowd in the American Museum of Natural History's Hayden Planetarium in New York City, and on Tuesday morning (August 2), pre-sale tickets for the Throne's upcoming tour went on sale. In this week's episode, Sway will deliver all the latest WTT news. You don't want to miss it.

Visit MTV.com on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET to watch Game and special guest Diddy on "RapFix Live"!

'Dark Knight Rises,' 'Hunger Games': Our Favorite 2012 Sneak Peeks

First looks at a dapper Bruce Banner in 'Avengers' and a rather emo 'Spider-Man' also top our list of the best reveals so far.

Hey, wait! We thought that summer was all about unwinding — kicking back, catching up, taking a breather from the relentless go-go-go of our interconnected century. Not so much!

Fact is, many of next year's most anticipated films are currently shooting or are deep into post-production work and, as is usually the case these days, studios and the paparazzi have been delivering a steady stream of sneak peeks at the movies we can't wait to check out in 2012. Here are our picks for the five coolest early looks to surface in the last few weeks.

Batman, Meet Bane's Pain
The teaser trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" made clear that, for all of Bruce Wayne's fancy-schmancy gadgets, we'd be seeing some old-school, hand-to-hand combat between Batman and his adversary, the villainous Bane. This new set photo shows us just how intense that hand-to-hand (and hand-to-throat) fighting will be. What's doubly intriguing about this photo is the scar running along the back of Bane's neck. According to DC Comics lore, Bane becomes a test subject for an experimental drug called Venom, which he becomes so addicted to he'll die without it. The scar could well be an indication of director Christopher Nolan's continued quest to bring realism to Gotham City, with the scar a gnarly reminder of Bane's chemically twisted personality.

Dr. Banner, You've Changed
Metamorphosis is at the heart of who Bruce Banner is, so it makes a certain sort of sense that the actor behind the character (and his green-skinned alter ego, the Hulk) has changed more than any other in the contemporary Marvel movie universe. First, it was Eric Bana, then Edward Norton and, now, we get Mark Ruffalo. And in the "Avengers" teaser trailer that debuted at the end of "Captain America," we get the first-ever look at Ruffalo in character as Banner. He's smart, he's skeptical, he's a snappy dresser. So this is a good start. But we'll be keeping an eye out for a look at Ruffalo, gussied up in layers of CG magic, as the Hulk himself.

Battle Rihanna
Last week's "Battleship" trailer is nothing short of effing crazy: transforming alien ships, Brooklyn Decker playing kissy face in a bikini and peg weapons directly pulled from the board game on which the film is based. Tucked into all this bang-whiz-pow madness are two fleeting shots of Rihanna making her film debut as a naval officer coming face-to-ship with some aliens here to cause humanity great physical harm. She doesn't get to utter a line, but hey, neither did Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the Victoria's Secret model-turned-actress, in the first few "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" trailers. So for now, while we can't say for certain Ri can deliver a convincing line reading, we do know she's quite OK looking scared as hell on camera.

The Ultimate Yogi
At San Diego Comic-Con last month, Andrew Garfield told MTV News he modeled his wiry Spider-Man after the version in the "Ultimate" series of comics. But "The Amazing Spider-Man," it seems from the first teaser trailer, is at least as influenced by director Marc Webb's indie-emo roots as it is by comics lore. This Peter Parker is something of a tortured soul, internalizing the pain of his parents' seeming abandonment and, in this screen grab, striking a kind of deep-in-thought yoga pose. As new footage comes out in the months ahead, we'll be waiting to see how deeply the film dives into the existential crisis of being a nerdy superhero and how much Webb lets Parker (and Spidey) fly.

Brooklyn, Obviously
Remember when "Twilight" fans freaked out about pasty old Robert Pattinson becoming steamy, super old Edward Cullen? How'd that turn out? Entertainment Weekly's cover photo of the boys of "The Hunger Games," and the decidedly mixed reaction to it, will likely stand as yet another example of dedicated fiction fans rebelling against the cinematic representations of characters they've been imagining in their heads for years. We're trusting in Lionsgate to get everything right. That's what they did in casting Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss. And we see no reason to second-guess Liam Hemsworth as Gale and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, even if (gasp!) Hutcherson didn't don contact lenses to mimic his character's baby blues.

Best Coast's 'Our Deal' Supervideo: Best Side Story

Drew Barrymore directs Tyler Posey, Chloë Moretz and more in an homage to classic teensploitation films.

Last week, we gave you a sneak peek at Best Coast's "Our Deal," the latest clip in MTV's "Supervideo" series. But perhaps it's more fitting to call that glimpse a trailer, because "Our Deal," which premiered on Tuesday (August 2), is most definitely a Hollywood production.

Directed by none other than Drew Barrymore and starring a who's who of up-and-coming stars — "Kick-Ass" star Chloë Moretz and "Teen Wolf" himself Tyler Posey as a pair of star-crossed lovers; Donald Glover, Alia Shawkat and Miranda Cosgrove as members of warring (though strangely good-natured) gangs — "Our Deal" looks very much like it was taken directly from the big screen. And its plotline is equally indebted to cinema, particularly the pegged jeans and teenage melodrama of classics like "The Outsiders," "Rumblefish," "Grease," "Rebel Without a Cause," "West Side Story" and basically any production that involves forbidden love, '50s hairdos, the occasional switchblade and matching jackets.

In short, it centers on a budding romance between Moretz and Posey, members of the Night Creepers and the Day Trotters, gangs who battle for control of L.A.'s streets. Their love is derailed when a member of the Creepers (Cosgrove, for those keeping score at home) is caught by members of the Trotters and beaten within an inch of her life. This sparks a rebuttal from the Creepers, in the form of a down-and-dirty — and surprisingly breakdance-heavy — rumble on the rooftops. But before said rumble can occur, Posey is forced to choose between his newfound love, who wants to run away from it all, and his loyalty to his gang. It is a story nearly as old as the movies themselves.

It's also a credit to everyone involved that "Our Deal" never quite feels like a retread. Barrymore's direction has a light, decidedly "indie" feel, and all the actors appear as if they're having an absolute blast preening and posing (and fighting, too). Of course, there's a rather heartbreaking twist at the end, one we won't reveal here — especially since you can watch the video right now — but suffice it to say, it's bound to inspire even more teen angst ... and possibly a sequel, too. After all, that's the Hollywood way, right?

Fans eager to experience Watch the Throne live are going to have to wait an extra month before they can see Jay-Z and Kanye West in concert. On Tuesday morning, Live Nation started a pre-sale for the WTT Tour, but the original run, which was set to begin on September 22 in Detroit, is no longer. Instead Yeezy and Hov will now kick things off on October 29 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The original 24-date tour is now slated for 17 stops, but Live Nation's website says that more dates will be announced soon. The October 29 Atlanta date was in fact on the original schedule, as was the October 30, Greensboro, North Carolina, date and the November 1 show in Baltimore. The remaining concerts are all rescheduled.

Look back at the events leading up to Watch the Throne's August 8 release.

There is still no New York City date on paper yet, though Hov confirmed that there will be one during a radio interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez on Monday, when he also denied rumors of a feud between him and Kanye. The Throne will stop at the nearby Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for two nights and will also land in West's hometown of Chicago on December 1.

"That's an old list we had to push that back, because it was like, we tried to put it out in pre-order and all the lines got jammed," Jay told Martinez in the interview as she read off the tour's original dates. "We pushed it back to really route it and put other dates on there. We'll probably put four New York dates there instead."

Check out exclusive photos of Jay-Z and Kanye West in the studio.

As of now, the last date on the schedule is across the northern border on December 18 in Vancouver. In the radio interview, Jay said that he and Kanye hadn't worked out the performance details and couldn't confirm who would hit the stage when or how the two would interact.

"We hadn't worked out those details yet but considerable time will be spent onstage together," he said.

HOLLYWOOD — The stars stepped out in fine form on Monday night to support Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman's R-rated body-swap comedy, "The Change-Up." Reynolds and Bateman were joined on the red carpet by their lovely lady co-stars Olivia Wilde and Leslie Mann, along with surprise guest, Reynolds' pal Sandra Bullock.

In the spirit of the life-swapping element in the film, MTV News asked the attendees what other actor they'd like to swap careers, if not bodies, with, if given the opportunity.

"I would like to be Robert Redford," Wilde said. "I think being Robert Redford would be really nice. And also directing as well as acting, and doing Westerns as well as all sorts of movies, then living a really good life, starting a film festival. I would take Robert Redford. I wouldn't miss a day of my Robert Redford life."

Mann settled on Oscar winner and Hollywood legend Shirley Maclaine.

"That's a good one, right?" she said, adding that Maclaine's film classics "The Apartment" and "Terms of Endearment" are two of her favorite movies of all time.

"I think Jeremy Renner has got a nice thing going right now," Bateman said of "The Avengers" and "Hurt Locker" actor.

"Joaquin Phoenix is working with Paul Thomas Anderson then Spike Jonze, not too shabby," he added, seemingly torn between the two. "Ryan, top that."

"Wow. You just nailed it, man," Reynolds admitted. "I'd take Quentin Tarantino, that guy makes some fantastic films."

"That's a good one," Bateman said. "Can I change mine?"

Check out everything we've got on "The Change-Up."

On the same day his band announced they were canceling the remainder of their U.S. tour due to his "vocal issues and exhaustion," Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill was in New York, where he told a TMZ cameraman he was focused on healing.

"I'm just trying to get better," Followill said while walking with his wife, model Lily Aldridge.

One Fan's Take: "If The Performance Would Have Suffered, Respect Their Decision"

On Monday, the Kings of Leon scrapped their tour in the wake of a disastrous Dallas show during which Followill repeatedly complained about the heat and then abruptly left the stage after announcing to the crowd at the Gexa Energy Pavilion, "I'm gonna go backstage and I'm gonna vomit. I'm gonna drink a beer and I'm gonna come back out and play three more songs."

He never reappeared, leaving his bandmates to apologize to the audience. Following the show, KOL bassist Jared Followill took to Twitter to express his frustrations, writing, "There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. I can't lie, there are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."

Initially, the band only postponed a Saturday-night show in Houston, but citing Followill's health, they made the decision to cancel their remaining U.S. shows, saying in a statement, "The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break."

The Kings are scheduled to return to the road at the end of September, with a run of shows in Canada, but when asked about future touring plans by TMZ, Followill would only say, "I don't know. ... We'll see how it goes."

The TMZ cameraman then asked Followill how he plans to heal his voice, to which he jokingly replied, "[I] try not to do interviews."

They both make the ladies swoon, and they both bring the bang to the box office. But only one can be Forbes' highest-paid leading man. This year that distinction goes to "Inception" star Leonardo DiCaprio, who beats out last year's winner, Johnny Depp.

According to Forbes.com, "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Depp topped the list in 2010 with $75 million but this year drops to #2, raking in a still-impressive $50 million. DiCaprio, however, was able to break his previous record by making $77 million in 2010 thanks to the success of flicks like "Shutter Island" and "Inception."

Both Depp and DiCaprio are sure to keep their profiles high thanks to a slew of upcoming projects on both their dockets. DiCaprio is set to star in "J. Edgar," "The Great Gatsby" and "Django Unchained." Meanwhile, Depp has upcoming films "Dark Shadows" and "21 Jump Street" on his plate.

They weren't the only Hollywood heavyweights making bank in the last 12 months. Adam Sandler nabs the #3 spot thanks to box-office smashes like "Grown Ups," which helped earn him an estimated $40 million in 2010. Will Smith lands at #4 on the list with an impressive $36 million salary. And "Larry Crowne" himself, Tom Hanks, who squeaked out $35 million, lands at #5 on the list.

The list is compiled by Forbes based on earnings made during the period between May 1, 2010, and May 1, 2011. According to the magazine, the estimations are made based on interviews with agents, lawyers, producers and other industry insiders.

Last month, Forbes released its list of highest-paid actresses, with a bevy of beauties like Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Stewart and Reese Witherspoon making the list.
