Kristen Stewart loves to cook, and it seems that her co-stars love to try her creations. When MTV News caught up with "Country Strong" and "On the Road" star Garrett Hedlund, he only had the nicest things to say about Stewart's culinary abilities.

"You got to try the tortilla soup!" he raved. "It's incredible. She's honed it."

Back in October, Stewart opened up about cooking for Hedlund and the rest of the "On the Road" cast, noting that her best dish was the tortilla soup. "I didn't bake; I cooked a lot, though. I was the only girl on set," she said. "I think I can do a really, really good, terrific tortilla soup. That was my 'On the Road' dish."

Stewart has also thrown big bashes for her pals, proving that her cooking goes far beyond just soup. "I get really embarrassed when people ask me what I cook, for some reason," she recalled of a dinner party she threw last year. "I shouldn't say that I cook anymore. There was like a big BBQ situation and, like, a bunch of steaks and veggies, and I made chicken piccata. I'm so embarrassed right now. But I made homemade marinara sauce starting at, like, 2 in the afternoon. It wasn't done until 8. It was incredible. The 'Twilight' cast showed up."

In the past, Taylor Lautner revealed some of Stewart's other delicious dishes. "Like, OK, you know kumquats?" he asked. "There's apparently a fruit called loquats. Yeah, I didn't know either. And she made a loquat pie."

With all this talk about Stewart's cooking abilities, does Hedlund have any skills in the kitchen? "I'm pretty much a klutz in the kitchen. I go through waves," he said. "Sometimes I just depend on pots and pans and cook up out of convenience, and sometimes I can't even find a fork."

Max Vangeli Talks Upcoming Debut Album With AN21

Young DJ/producer earns support from Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia and other dance-music greats.

NEW YORK — Up-and-coming DJ/producer Max Vangeli is one of the most promising artists for 2011. He capped off 2010 with a bash at Miami's Fountainbleu, where he rang in the new year poolside performing with Tiësto, and the San Franciscan's rise to the upper echelon of dance music has seemingly come out of nowhere.

"I remember when I started playing in San Francisco," the 25-year-old recalled to MTV News recently. "I would play in front of, like, 15 people, and then slowly going to, like, maybe 20,25, 30 to 150, and now I'm doing New Year's with Tiësto? It's overwhelming, but I'm ready!"

So how does Max, who was born in the tiny European nation Moldova, plan to top what he achieved in 2010? Simple: He'll be cranking out even more killer music. Together with production partner AN21 (pronounced "Antoine"), who just happens to be the younger brother of Swedish House Mafia's Steve Angello, the duo are out to prove that they're by no means tagging along for the ride.

"It's difficult, because everything we do is associated with Swedish House Mafia," Vangeli said. "But we're still our own producers, and we do our own things. The fact that we're associated with the guys isn't necessarily a bad thing for us; it only helps our careers. We learn a lot from them, and it just pushes us to work as hard as they do."

In the past 12 months or so, the duo have proved just that. Exploding on the radar during WMC 2010 with their anthemic remix of Steve Angello's "Monday" and their own original smash "Swedish Beauty," the duo showed no signs of slowing down. Followed by remixes for Switchfoot, Ellie Goulding and Gorillaz; a resurrection of the Prodigy's controversial '90s tune "Smack My Bitch Up"; and their latest remix smash remix of the Pendulum hit "The Island," Max and AN21 have solidified their spot on the international scene.

"When we were offered to do the [Pendulum] remix, we loved the record already, so it was hard to remix because it's already really, really good," Max said.

Co-produced by AN21 and Steve, the "Island" remix came together rather quickly, Max said. In fact, it began en route to the perennially epic Mystery Land Festival in Holland's capital city, where they were set to perform along with Tiësto and scores of others. "We just sat with our laptops the entire night and put some ideas together and ended up doing it literally in one night," Max recalled. "We didn't sleep at all. Then we flew into Amsterdam and played it, and it just went off."

It should come as no surprise that due to the massive success of "The Island" and their many other remixes, these gentlemen have been in high demand. However, instead of speeding down the remix-highway, the pair have decided to focus on their debut album, tentatively slated for release in late summer.

"We have a lot of remix requests, especially right now. It's almost every day we have a remix request from great artists that we'd like to work with," Max said. "[However], at one point you want to get away from that and get on your own productions, because when you're doing remixes constantly, you don't have time to really be more creative about new sounds and things like that. This was the perfect opportunity for us to do the album, where we step away from all the work on remixes and just focus on our own sound."

Vangeli said the idea behind the album is to collaborate with those they've loved working with and doing remixes for in the past. Tracks have already been confirmed with Tiësto and Steve, as well as another with Kim Fai, which is already being played in many of the Swede's sets. While keeping the rest of the collaborators a secret, Max assured us that the album will have at least four or five in total.

"Overall, it's pretty shaped up," he said. "We have a lot of great collaborations on it."

Fans will get to hear much of the new music in Miami come the end of March, as he and AN21's dates will align with those of the Swedish House Mafia, but like the rest of the crew, they will not partake in Ultra Music Festival.

"Right now, we have nothing planned for the early part of Winter Music Conference," Max said. "So we're all planning to go the regular dates, because it's such a standard for everyone. I don't know why they pushed it back early."

He, like many others, agreed that the date change couldn't come at a worse time, when dance music here in the States is seemingly hitting its stride with the masses.

"I don't think it's ever been this big," Max said. "Right now, all of the hip-hop guys are getting into dance beats and stuff like that, so it's an amazing stage, and I think it's going to be one of those waves where it's remembered for a long time."

Jim Carrey Spoofs 'Black Swan' On 'Saturday Night Live'

Jim Carrey helped "Saturday Night Live" kick off 2011 with a boatload of laughs.

The veteran comedian busted out his guffaw-inducing skills from his sketch-comedy past to punch up a slew of skits, churning out laughs as he played everything from a questionable tantric-sex guru to a randy failed soul singer.

Carrey's opening monologue started things off on an optimistic note, as the actor affably joked about staying upbeat as the end of the world nears. "When everyone around you bursts into flames, it's time for s'mores," Carrey cheerily quipped. Then he gleefully proposed to an audience member, reminding her that "First of all, I'm Jim Carrey. You know what that means: Mucho dinero." When the proposal was denied, Carrey pulled a male audience member on stage who he quickly announced as his life partner and went on with the show.

Carrey also parodied the dancefloor drama "Black Swan," playing gawky, hissing, squawking ballet dancer Lily to Nasim Pedrad's icily insecure Nina. Carrey strutted into the studio in a stiff, black tutu, saying, "Sorry I'm late. I had to go numbers 3 and 4." After shedding his jacket to reveal chicken-wing-like tattoos on his shoulder blades and putting his fellow dancers on alert, announcing, "Get ready to rock, bitches," Carrey began to clumsily flail about, looking much more like a fowl in distress than a graceful swan.

Sporting long stringy locks and boasting a dubious résumé as a sex expert, Carrey later teamed up with Kenan Thompson to hawk a DVD of intimate positions titled "Tantric and Tasty." The pair tag-teamed for moves like "Two Lumberjacks" and "The Endless Clown Car."

Carrey also turned up with a Color Me Badd-esque gelled pompadour and skinny mustache as D'versity, a lost R&B crooner as part of the "Worst of Soul Train" DVD collection. Carrey earnestly belted the sleazy hit "I Just Need One," crooning, "Can I see one t-----?!"

The "I Love Phillip Morris" star kept the tunes coming as a member of an unsettling animatronic singing trio on a theme-park ride with a murderous streak. He also spooked out some unsuspecting tourists in a sketch about a band of homeless people called A Taste of New York that strum hopeless ditties about getting robbed by junkies and seeing rats nest in baby cribs.

Bluesy duo the Black Keys rocked the show as musical guests, first hitting the stage for "Howlin' For You," from their latest album Brothers. Staying true to their straightforward, dive-bar-friendly vibe, the pair kept the setup simple, sporting all-black ensembles with Patrick Carney and two back-up musicians pounding away on circular platforms as Dan Auerbach belted the lyrics. The duo returned for their gritty torch song "Tighten Up," with Auerbach pumping heaping amounts of soul into his raspy vocals.

Nicki Minaj and Rihanna prove that girls will be girls — even if they are platinum-selling, chart-topping megastar girls.

The hitmaking ladies were filming the visual for the MC's next single "Fly" over the weekend, and on Saturday the Barbadian-born songstress tweeted a photo of the two on set making sassy faces in full "Fly" girl regalia.

In the picture Rihanna sports pin-straight, shoulder-length, crimson-and-burgundy locks, smoky eye makeup and a low-cut, black top as she leans on Nick's shoulder. Minaj mugs for the camera rocking super-long false eyelashes with a swipe emerald-colored glitter on her lower lids and a pink bustier adorned with silvery spikes.

"Me and Nikki in our new crib, lol! Gettin busy on set of FLY!!!" Rihanna wrote. "Its so hard to keep my hands off!"

About an hour later Minaj laid down some guidelines for her new pretend paramour and roommate.

"Lol. If we're gonna liv 2gthr and hook up u gotta learn how 2 spell my name! Lmaooooooo," she wrote. The Young Money raptress followed up with sly a disclaimer, lifting a line from her beastly Kanye West collabo "Monster," writing, "Gossip Gossip ni#@a just stop it! :p."

Minaj spoke last week about teaming up with her "Fly" collaborator on the video set, and while she remained tight-lipped about the concept, she maintained that fans can expect a major clip to accompany the Pink Friday cut.

"We're shooting the video with Rihanna for 'Fly' this weekend," Nicki told E! News on Thursday. "We're going to save the world in more ways than one with the video, and that's all I can say about that."

Perhaps Minaj was ready for any fresh remarks from Rihanna, as she playfully conceded the Loud songstress can get a little touchy-feely.

"I love Ri Ri!" she gushed. "I mean, when she's not grabbing my ass, she's a sweet girl."

Superstars David and Victoria Beckham are expanding their brood. The soccer phenomenon and his fashionista wife have revealed that Victoria is pregnant.

"David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to confirm they are expecting their fourth child in the summer," their rep told People on Sunday (January 9). The rep added that the couple's three children "Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are very excited about the arrival of their new brother or sister."

Although the British duo are already parents to three growing sons, the former Spice Girl admitted in 2010 that she and Becks would be open to adding another little one to the mix.

"I think one day, if we're blessed to have more children, it would be amazing," Victoria told People. "It's a lot having three boys. So, we're just enjoying the boys at the moment. But who knows, one day?"

The pair got hitched in 1999, and it appears their high-profile marriage is still going strong over ten years later. Victoria, who has since followed up her time as a chart-topping member of the Spice Girls with an increasingly successful career as a fashion designer, gushed about her athlete hubby in the November 2010 issue of Marie Claire.

"We were about to go out somewhere the other day, and he was sending an email. He was sitting at the end of the bed, and he had no clothes on whatsoever. I was getting out of the shower, and I just stood there looking at him. He was all tan. Has all those tattoos — which I love. Hadn't done his hair. He just naturally looks good all the time. He never looks like sh-- in the morning. Never," she said. "So he's sitting there sending his emails, all ripped. Not an ounce of fat on him."

Share your congratulations for the family in the comments!

"True Grit" is cementing its status as a true box-office force.

Packed with tough-as-leather Hollywood heavyweights like Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon, and featuring buzzed-about newcomer Hailee Steinfield, the Western drama spent its third weekend in theaters at the top spot. The Coen brothers' latest project raked in $15 million; a figure which kicks the film's total gross to about $110 million.

Close behind "Grit" is "Little Fockers," which has been battling with the desert drama at the box office for the past few weeks. The film closed out the weekend in third place, scoring $13.8 million. The family friendly comedy, which is the third installment of Focker/Byrne antics dished out by Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Barbra Streisand and Dustin Hoffman, has grossed about $123 million.

The supernatural Nicholas Cage vehicle "Season of the Witch" landed in the theaters in third place. The tale of a knight charged with delivering a supposed witch to an abbey to snuff out her powers — Cage told MTV News he sought to create a film that is "unafraid to explore the paranormal" — debuted with $10.7 million.

The video-game fantasy flick — and second movie after "Grit" in the top five featuring Jeff Bridges — "Tron Legacy" spent the weekend in fourth place. The follow-up to the game-changing 1982 flick snapped up $9.8 million. The movie's total estimated tally now stands at around $147 million.

The gory ballet thriller "Black Swan" finished the weekend in fifth place. Natalie Portman's turn as a sheltered ballerina struggling for artistic perfection pulled in $8.6 million. The film, which has scored buzz not only for Portman's breakthrough performance but for the flick's racy sex scene with Mila Kunis, has a total estimated haul of $61 million.

No Justin Bieber-Centric 'Glee' Episode Planned

'Those [tributes] are reserved for artists with big catalogs,' co-creator Ryan Murphy explains.

Bad news for Beliebers: A Justin Bieber "Glee" tribute episode isn't happening anytime soon.

After rumors began to swirl that Bieber Fever was slated to sweep McKinley High, Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of the Fox hit cleared up the role of the teen star's music in an upcoming episode. Murphy maintained that unlike other superstars whose repertories have received "Glee" overhauls — like Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Madonna — Bieber's current list of hits isn't long enough to sustain an entire hour of New Directions-helmed numbers.

"Those [tributes] are reserved for artists with big catalogs," he told Entertainment Weekly. However, this season of "Glee" won't be completely Bieber-free: "Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam [Chord Overstreet] sings a JB song to win Quinn's [Dianna Agron] approval."

Murphy has recently been giving up more details about some of the storylines and smash hits set to turn up on "Glee." Gwyneth Paltrow will return to reprise her role as feisty substitute teacher Holly Holliday for a two-episode arc that includes dating glee-club leader Will Schuester. The hit show will also take a chance on Gaga's soon-to-be released single "Born This Way," which will serve as inspiration for an episode airing in either March or April.

"I love that that song is [an] anthem," Murphy explained of giving the track major "Glee" love. "This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark. But I also love Max and I love that character and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don't really know what that's going to be, but I do know we're going to do a whole episode that's about that song."
