The list of reasons why you should tune into the 2011 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday seems endless at this point, from the sheer number of A-list celebrities attending to the show-stopping performances scheduled (Hello, Foo Fighters!) to the general unpredictability of MTV's annual event.

A chief master of the art of being unpredictable, Jim Carrey is among the celebrity presenters, and if his appearances at past MTV Movie Awards are any indication, viewers are sure to be buzzing about him Sunday night. Carrey's Movie Awards history is a storied one, the stand-out, of course, being his surprise, disguised appearance in 1999. Carrey also currently holds the title of most Golden Popcorn won, with 11 awards to his name.

When MTV News caught up with the funnyman during promotion for his upcoming flick "Mr. Popper's Penguins," we asked if he'd decided on his awards-show ensemble yet.

"I'm wearing a suit that I've had made," he told us. "It's the latest in nanotechnology, so I'm able to project whatever I want on it. I'm going to be revealing that at the MTV [Movie] Awards," he teased. "This is something I've created myself; I'm kind of Bruce Wayne in that kinda way. I have a lot of interesting and very cutting-edge technology that I work with and I want to unveil it at the Awards.

"Wait until you see it," he added with a smile. "It's going to be amazing."

Carrey joins a superstar-studded list of presenters that includes Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, Cameron Diaz, Leighton Meester, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Steve Carell, Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg.

Having a hard time trying to figure out who you'd like to win at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards? "Breaking Dawn" star Jackson Rathbone is weighing in on his picks for Sunday's big show, and he's sticking with his Cullen brother Robert Pattinson to win it all.

Rathbone is even staunchly Team Edward when it comes to Best Kiss, in which Kristen Stewart is up for getting it on with Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

"How do you decide which is the better kiss: Kris' kiss with Rob or Kris' kiss with [Lautner's] Jacob? Taylor or Rob I guess is what it breaks down to," he told MTV News earlier this week. "I'm gonna have to side with my brother and go with Rob there."

Rathbone even dove into why Bella and Edward's kiss really resonated with him. "What is it about that kiss?" he pondered. "You know, to me, it was ... a long time coming [and] that understanding between two lovers, and I think there's a lot of pent-up sexual aggression there, being young and a vampire."

Not only does Rathbone have to pick between Pattinson and Lautner for Best Kiss; the pair are also splitting votes for Best Male Performance, going up against Daniel Radcliffe ("Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1"), Jesse Eisenberg ("The Social Network") and Zac Efron ("Charlie St. Cloud"). Of course, those three guys don't even count for Rathbone -- it's all about his "Eclipse" buds.

"Best Male Performance? Rob or Taylor, once again this boils down to [them]," he said. "I love both guys ... but I'm gonna have to once again side with my family and go Robert Pattinson."

Do Foo Fighters Know Robert Pattinson From Robert Plant?

During band's rehearsal break for Sunday's Movie Awards, we put Foos to the test.

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — Hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore and punk have long gone hand-in-hand with evil wizards, magic, vampires and werewolves. And with a collective sub-cultural pedigree that includes stints in the Germs, No Use for a Name, Sunny Day Real Estate, Scream and some band called Nirvana, you'd think the Foo Fighters — set to perform at Sunday's Movie Awards — would know their "Potter" from their Zeppelin. Certainly they can recognize a "wand" reference and pinpoint its origin?

Right? Before we put MTV News' magically crafted trivia to the band, it seemed safe to assume the Foos would accurately distinguish between the words of Harry Potter, a "Twilight" character and Led Zeppelin. But was their underground nerd cred blown to shreds? Read on — and click the video! — to see how the Foo Fighters fared when we caught up with them on the Universal Studios lot, shortly after they finished rehearsing their Movie Awards performance.

Our own Jim Cantiello played dungeon master as Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear were given a series of semi-famous lines and asked whether they originated with "Harry Potter," the "Twilight Saga" or the lyrics of hard-rock pioneers Led Zeppelin.

Here's a sampling of a few of those one-liners:

» "The elder wand, the most powerful wand ever made."

» "Why don't you let me be yours ever truly? Can I make your garden grow?"

» "You're lying, Dolores! You mustn't tell lies!"

Can you guess whether the lines above came from the "Potter" flicks, "Twilight" or Robert Plant?

Watch as the Foos try their best to do exactly that. Then tune in to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to catch the Foo Fighters rock the stage with their new single, "Walk."
