First comes love, then comes marriage ... and, for Speidi, next comes the baby carriage. After the couple eloped last month in Mexico, Spencer Pratt repeated that a little Heidi or Spencer is on the agenda.

"We definitely need a kid ASAP," Spencer said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show on Monday, after Seacrest remarked that he heard the pair was trying to become parents. The couple was on the show to promote "The Hills" finale -- hosted by MTV's Tim Kash and including a performance by the Pussycat Dolls -- which will air live from New York City on Monday night (December 22).

Heidi made jokes about the baby rumors that have been swirling around the couple. "About my quadruplets?" she asked when Seacrest said she had to make her big announcement on his show. "Actually, I think they're quintuplets."

Heidi also discounted claims made by her mother that the marriage wouldn't last more than "six months," telling Seacrest that the marriage will last, "Forever and ever and ever!"

"She loves Spencer and she always says she's never seen anyone treat someone as well as Spencer treats me," Montag said regarding the rift between her new hubby and her mom, Darlene. "I think moms are just shocked at first because all moms would be, but she's really come around."

Regardless of everything being smoothed over within the family, the couple will be too busy to spend the holidays with Heidi's mom. "I don't think so, because I'll only have one day to go home," Montag explained. "We're going to New York and Vegas and then back to New York and Chicago. I'd have to fly home for one day, and I don't know if I can be in all those places at once."

Speaking of smoothing out feuds, Heidi didn't confirm that everything is cool between her and Lauren Conrad, but admits that they've mended wounds in some ways. "You've got to stay tuned for tonight, but I think Lauren and I both have had a lot that's happened in our lives and we're older now," Montag said.

"For me personally, I've missed her. That was my best friend and it's hard when that's taken out of your life. I think for both of us we just wanted some kind of closure in one way or another. It was really, really good to see her. It was definitely one of my best moments of the season."

Diddy Talks About 'CSI: Miami' Role: 'Nobody's Sure If I'm A Good Guy Or A Bad Guy'

When you're Diddy, some things come easily.

All the Bad Boy mogul had to do was meet with CBS, tell them he wanted to play a lawyer on "CSI: Miami" ... and he got a call "25 hours later, [saying] they were going to write me a part into 'CSI: Miami.' It was truly a blessing.

"I'm playing a defense attorney," he told MTV News on the show's set near Los Angeles earlier this month (a visit that even saw the mogul carrying his own umbrella during a rainstorm). His episodes are set to air on February 9 and 16. "The scene I am shooting today is myself and David [Caruso]. We have a lot of confrontation. I'm like his nemesis."

He explained that his character hasn't been making any friends with the show's other characters — in fact, he's there to butt heads and make trouble. "I play this lawyer, almost all the time I get everyone off. It's like, I set up one of my clients to get off one of my other clients, but nobody's sure if I'm a good guy or a bad guy.

"[There's] a lot of that going back and forth with every one of the actors that are on 'CSI: Miami,' he continued. "Every actor, I'm really like their nemesis. Just playing a lawyer I had a great time.

"Two days ago I did the courtroom scene and it was definitely a better feeling than actually being the defendant!" he said, referring to his legal challenges a few years back. "I'm blessed to have this opportunity."

Of course, Diddy has appeared in many films and even starred in "A Raisin in the Sun" on Broadway in 2004. "Last year I made a statement that I was moving to Hollywood and I was really going to turn up to the heat on pursuing my acting career," he explained. "I've been blessed to work with Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn in 'Made' and then to be able to go work with Halle Berry, Billy Bob Thornton, Heath Ledger in 'Monster's Ball.' "

He's even seen Derek Luke portray him in the forthcoming Biggie biopic "Notorious" (which comes out next month), and told MTV News that he'd like Luke to portray him in a Diddy biopic, should such a film ever be made.

"I wanted to keep on studying and learning; working with great actors, directors, great shows," he said. "I've never done a television drama. I've always wanted to play a lawyer. I didn't want to play, like, a rap artist or a criminal."

He added, "This is something I'm really working hard to learn and get better everyday. I just signed on to do a comedy — which I can't say what it is. [But] you can see the range of things ... getting my feet wet. That's what it's all about."

Britney? RPattz? Charlize? Find out what our favorite news segments of the year really are.

Spend any time on this site and you'll see that certain names keep popping up: Britney, Robert Pattinson, Lil Wayne. But dig a little deeper and you realize that the realm of MTV News runs rather vast and deep — from Afro-punk to lo-fi, from Obama to "Beverly Hills, 90210." Maybe you don't care about some of these stories, but so what? We do. So, as the year draws to a close, we decided to take a deep breath and look back at our favorite segments from 2008.

10. Choosing to Go Lo-Fi
Enough with the over-produced, over-hyped pop stars pervading the airwaves and Internet — let's get back to the music. John Norris examines the latest trend in punk: lo-fi. With unpolished recordings and everyday amps, bands like Times New Viking and No Age have garnered devoted fan followings.

9. I'm Not That Nervous 'Cause Our Band's, Like, Really Good
Sorry, Hayley — rock is definitely still a men's club ... but not for too long, if the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls has anything to do with it. Every year, the camp brings together toddlers and teens with wide ranges of experience and teaches them to rock out. We dare you to watch this and not smile.

8. G-Unit Perform Until They Have Nothing Left
Mr. Mandela, Fiddy. Fiddy, Mr. Mandela. Back in early June, G-Unit headed to Africa for a series of concerts, and the guys were nice enough to invite MTV News along for the ride. While they were there, the crew endured theft and illness, but still managed to thrill a heck of lot of fans along the way who never thought they'd lay eyes on the rap heavyweight. Expanding his global brand or cheap publicity stunt? You tell us.

7. It's Airships, Pirates and Goggles
You've never heard of "steampunk"?! OK, maybe that's not too surprising. Luckily, John Norris explains the importance of goggles — yes, goggles — in this vibrant subculture, which takes the styles of the past and bridges them with the gadgetry of the future.

6. The Race Kicked Off Before Spencer Was on "The Hills"
Each week during the "American Idol" season, MTV News' Jim Cantiello recaps the pop culture phenomenon in 60 seconds. That means that during the other seven months of the year, he sits around doing nothing. So, in order to keep him off the streets, we asked him to tackle the entire presidential election — all two years of it — Jim Cantiello-style. So here it is: the election in 60 seconds.

5. Chamillionaire Gives Props to Prep School "How was your day at school?" "Oh, same old, same old — study hall, math, Chamillionaire dropped by." When a group of students at the low-income YES Prep school in Houston, Texas, decided to raise money to fight malaria, hip-hop star Chamillionaire got wind of it and dropped by to wish the students well.

4. We Just Want Our School Back to Normal Anyone who worked at MTV News in 2007 will never forget the tragic events that happened on April 16 at Virginia Tech. That's why it was so uplifting to visit the school one year later and see how well the students were carrying on. We got to check in with some old friends who continue to overwhelm us with their Hokie spirit.

3. Kelly Taylor Got Around! No matter how you feel about the new version of "Beverly Hills, 90210," as a journalistic organization it was our job to bring you up to speed on the old show before the new one began. Kim Stolz takes you through all 10 years of "90210" relationships in about 90 seconds.

2. Charlize Likes Our Reporter Very Much MTV News Movies Editor Josh Horowitz has been called a lot of names over the years, but perhaps he's never been called such a bad name by someone so beautiful. Charlize Theron may not like him very much, but, unlike most of the other women that Josh meets, at least she'll never forget him.

1. The MTV "Newsical" Lives On There are good ideas, there are bad ideas and then there's this: "Hey guys, why don't we deliver the news each week in a short musical segment, complete with choreography and an appearance by famous Internet star/drag queen Britney Houston?" This pilot never quite made it to air, but we put it here for you to check out all the same. Go ahead and watch it. We dare you.
