Britney Spears brought fans and MTV cameras along as she prepared for the release of her latest album, Femme Fatale, resulting in the MTV special "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale." In the show, which debuted on MTV on Sunday, Spears works to put the finishing touches on one of the tracks on the album, the will.i.am-produced "Big Fat Bass."

"I love his work. He's all over the place. He's brilliant," she told Sway Calloway about hooking up with the Black Eyed Peas mastermind. "When he does talk, he blows you away."

Of her ability to work hard and fast in the studio, she said, "That's the way I've always been. I'm there to work, I'm very professional," later adding, "I really like to choose songs that empower people. I have a team of people that I work with."

After meeting with will.i.am in the studio, fans get to see Spears on set as she shoots the Ray Kay-directed video for her single "Till the World Ends." Shot in a "grimy and gross" warehouse, Spears worked to make sure that everything "looks fresh." "I feel like I've done so many videos, I'm at the point I want to enjoy myself," she explained of making videos a decade and a half into her career.

Spears admits that she's felt the need to create ever since she was a child, when her mother's friends would wonder why she was always jostling about. "When I was younger, I was busy, busy, and I was always singing and dancing all the time. I was just really creative," she recalled. "That's when my mom realized I'm a really creative person."

The pop singer explains that when she's not being a "perfectionist" at dance rehearsals, she's busy being a mom to her two sons, Jayden and Sean. "I'm usually pretty busy when I'm not working," she says. "I have two children, so I usually get them up in the morning, and I'm usually at the gym, and I help cook dinner sometimes ... a lot of the stuff that I do I do early in the morning when my boys are at school."

In the special, she and her assistant take a moment at a Starbucks before the Femme Fatale rehearsals really amp up, and she admits she needs those moments to breathe on occasion. "It was nice just to have a moment to ourselves to sit and talk about shoes," she said.

The special follows Spears in Las Vegas, where she puts on a surprise show for her fans at the Palms Hotel and Casino. "It was very exciting. The fans were amazing. It was good energy, especially when they're screaming," she said. "They hype you up and make you feel larger than life."

For now, Spears' life is her career and her family, and she says that she wouldn't mind doing this for the rest of her life. Or not. "I hope so," she said when asked if she'll still be doing this in her 50s, like Madonna. "Or maybe [I'll be] doing nothing!"

Robert Pattinson Fumes Over 'Breaking Dawn' Photo Leak

Twihards, your call to action for retribution and justice has come. And, the call, by the way, is coming from none other than Robert Pattinson.

When MTV News caught up with "Twilight" star Pattinson on Sunday, a hot topic was those leaked "Breaking Dawn" photos that hit the Web (and were swiftly taken down), and the star was obviously fuming mad about the whole thing.

"It's just ridiculous. I literally can't believe that it happened," Pattinson said regarding the photos, which show his character, Edward, and Bella (Kristen Stewart) on their honeymoon and Bella going through what appears to be her vampire transformation.

Pattinson, who said he wanted to speak to us about the leaked pictures "because MTV seemed like the right place to do it," immediately asked for help from the series' most hard-core — and equally ticked-off — fans.

"I want the 'Twilight' troops to mobilize, all the good fans, and find out who these little sh--s are and just hack into their computers and destroy them," RPattz said with a laugh, later adding, "I'm being genuinely serious, 'Twilight' fans ... Punish them."

In fact, the 24-year-old star — who is promoting his latest flick, the period drama "Water for Elephants" — then asked Twihards to do him another favor while they are bringing down the culprits: "Find out who hacked into my e-mail address, too, and destroy them," he urged.

It wasn't just the content of the leaked images that bothered Pattinson so much — "It's raw footage: It's not even what people are going to see," he noted — but the intention behind it. "Why do this maliciously? You're not a fan. You're just a di--," he said, once again with a laugh, adding,"That's all there is to it.

"I'd understand it more if they sold the stuff," he continued, referring to those who pulled the online stunt. "But, it's like, 'Oh, you just want to be annoying?' " At one point, with an exasperated sigh, the actor called the people responsible for the leaks "idiots."

Pattinson also said he was angry on behalf of all of those who are currently working on the final two installments of the wildly popular saga, saying the leaks are frustrating "especially when you've been working on something for eight months." "It's an exciting movie, and everything is so different, and a lot of people have worked really, really hard."

Of course, Pattinson wasn't the only one upset by the leak. On Friday, Summit Entertainment, "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, "Breaking Dawn" director Bill Condon and producer Wyck Godfrey released a statement on Facebook that read, "As some of you may know, pictures and screen grabs of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' as a work in progress have leaked on the Internet. We are extremely proud of this film and also extremely heartbroken to see it out there at this stage. The film and these images are not yet ready or in their proper context. They were illegally obtained and their early dissemination is deeply upsetting to the actors, the filmmakers and Summit who are working so hard to bring these movies to fruition to you in November 2011 and November 2012."

The message went on to urge, "Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don't view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you."

Luckily, the photos, which have mostly been all but erased from the Web, didn't even reach Pattinson. The star, who revealed that he and Stewart haven't filmed their "Breaking Dawn" wedding scene yet, nor has he seen Bella's wedding dress, noted, "I didn't even see the leaks."

On Sunday night, Britney Spears took her fans behind the scenes of her life as she prepped the release of her latest studio album, Femme Fatale, in the MTV special "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale." She allowed cameras to follow her as she hit the studio to work with will.iam, attended dance rehearsals, filmed the video for her song "Hold It Against Me" and performed in Las Vegas.

DJ Pauly D was on hand for that Vegas performance at the Palms Hotel and Casino, where he warmed up the crowd for the femme fatale herself. Before the night even kicked off, Pauly took MTV News for a mini-tour of Rain nightclub, where Spears was set to take the stage for her debut Femme Fatale performance.

He walked our cameras through the club, showing off the stage on which Spears would later perform "Hold It Against Me," "Big Fat Bass" and "Till The World Ends." As he walked across the dance floor, which would be occupied by Spears' fans much later in the night, he made his way to the DJ booth, where he spun tunes and introduced the star the night of the big show, which was included in the special.

"Me, Britney and Vegas is the perfect combination. I love Las Vegas. I love music. Britney Spears loves music. Her new album's out, and who better to be onstage with her than DJ Pauly D?" he said. "It's amazing. I like to see my name on marquees anyway, but now, having it associated with Britney Spears. I've been a fan of her my whole life. I used to always play her music, so it's unreal."

The excitement for the summer-movie season is definitely gaining momentum, what with all the trailers and TV spots that have started to premiere and photos leaking online. One of the first big movies to open this season will be the highly anticipated "Thor," directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings and Stellan Skarsgård.

Earlier this week, MTV News was privy to an exclusive clip from the film, and a few days later, we were lucky enough to run into Hemsworth at CinemaCon to get a few details about the hype surrounding the project and one of the Aussie actor's favorite sequences.

"I shot 'Thor' a year ago, was cast six months before that, so it's been a long time of anticipation, but it's all heating up and we're very excited," Hemsworth said of feeling the excitement building around the film.

Regarding a favorite scene or sequence, Hemsworth said he enjoyed his work on the Earth-bound set most.

"The stuff you see in the trailers with Natalie Portman, there's a real sense of humor to it, which I don't think we expected at the time," he said. "Thor is a real fish-out-of-water, and I'd actually just come from shooting the stuff in the other realm or world that we were in, with Anthony Hopkins and big elaborate set pieces and costumes, and he's fantastic and it was all wonderful, and then come to do the Earth stuff with Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings and Stellan Skarsgård, and Jane's in a T-shirt," he explained of feeling a bit shocked by the differences between the film's two settings, joking that it was nice to not have to wear his elaborate costume for a while.

"It felt incredibly uncomfortable, but also there was some comic relief to all that," Hemsworth said.
