The day has finally come for Heidi Montag to officially become Mrs. Spencer Pratt. And on Saturday (April 25) in Pasadena, California, the duo better known as Speidi finally tied the knot. MTV News got all the details from Spencer's sister and Heidi's bridesmaid, Stephanie Pratt.

"It was amazing," she said shortly after the ceremony ended. "Heidi looked amazing. She was wearing a million dollars worth of diamonds over a strapless Monique Lhullier dress."

Stephanie, who wore a yellow gown from BCBG, admits that although Heidi was trying to stay composed during the ceremony, it was hard for Stephanie to contain herself at times.

"I was up there, and her back was towards me, so I don't know if she was crying," Stephanie said. "But she was getting mad at me if we would start crying so that she wouldn't start crying."

Heidi's sister, Holly, was also a bridesmaid, and Stephanie said, "Holly really kept it together. Everything worked out great."

Much like Heidi, Spencer, whose groomsmen were his friends Brian and Sean, also kept his cool during the ceremony. "He was really good. He was really happy."

The ceremony, which Stephanie guesses had about 200 guests, was a lot bigger than expected and included the Pratt parents. "My parents were there," she said. "They were very emotional, like most parents would be."

Unlike the couple's previous attempts to marry in Mexico and at a Los Angeles-area courthouse, this time around the duo had a ceremony in a church, just like Heidi always wanted. "This is with the family. There was a legal priest, and the ceremony had prayers. It was completely different."

It's official! After a few false starts, some drama and, of course, lots of love, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt married on Saturday (April 25) in front of their family and friends in Pasadena, California.

The happy couple, who previously eloped in Mexico and decided to postpone their courthouse wedding for a big reception, finally tied the knot, an MTV spokesperson confirmed to MTV News.

"MTV wishes Heidi and Spencer the best," the statement reads, "and can't wait to share their wedding with 'The Hills' fans later this season."

In a statement from the couple's rep, Rick Rhodes, more details about the nuptials were revealed.

"Today Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt joined hands in marriage during an afternoon ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, CA," the statement reads. "Dr. Twining F. Campbell served as pastor in front of 200 family and friends. Afterwards, the newlywed couple enjoyed an intimate reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA."

MTV News got more wedding details from Spencer's sister, Stephanie, who also acted as one of Heidi's bridesmaids. "It was amazing," she said shortly after the ceremony ended. "Heidi looked amazing. She was wearing a million dollars worth of diamonds over a strapless Monique Lhullier dress."

Stephanie, along with fellow bridesmaid and Heidi's sister, Holly Montag, wore yellow BCBG gowns. She added that although she was all tears, Heidi managed to be cool. "I was up there, and her back was towards me, so I don't know if she was crying," Stephanie said. "But she was getting mad at me if [Holly and I] would start crying so she wouldn't start crying [too]."

Three years ago, Heidi Montag met Spencer Pratt and television history was made. Friendships were broken, families felt betrayed and two kids fell in love. It was 2006 when, fresh off a breakup with a guy named Jordan, Heidi found Spencer.

At the time, Heidi was living with her then-best friend and "Hills" star Lauren Conrad. But when Heidi and Spencer initially started dating, he wasn't always the best boyfriend in the world — he was seen out and about with other girls, including Heidi's friend Audrina Patridge.

At one point, Heidi had a pregnancy scare. Sometime shortly after that, Heidi and Spencer decided to go exclusive with their relationship. "I couldn't be happier right now," he once told his future bride. Spencer's claim that he had a sex tape of LC and her ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler put the nail in the coffin of Lauren and Heidi's friendship soon after.

Then one day, on a beach in Santa Barbara, California, in May 2007, Spencer decided to take the plunge and ask Heidi to marry him. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he said. That's when things got really interesting between the couple better known as Speidi. But Spencer and Heidi always seemed to have a lot of heat in their relationship and sometimes that heat manifested itself into breakups.

After just months of living together, they broke off the engagement later that year. Heidi told Spence to move out as she gave him back the ring.

Well, he came back, and the duo once again decided to go forth with their plans to marry. The couple then eloped in Mexico where Spencer told Heidi, "It's a secret Mexican wedding. It's for us." Upon returning home, the couple wanted to make it official but when they got to the courthouse, they postponed their wedding in lieu of a bigger ceremony — like the one that took place on Saturday (April 25).

But before Saturday's big ceremony, the couple were once again plagued with problems, such as Spencer possibly cheating on Heidi with a bartender, causing the duo to see a therapist. Now it seems they've worked out their problems, and finally got that big wedding Heidi always wanted.
